I believe Ginn was back deep on the last Kick Return of the game. My question is this: if he was back there on the one that mattered, why wouldnt he be back there the whole game. If you feel better about him returning then whys Bess back there?

Teams do this sometimes. They have a dynamic kick/punt returner who they take off of special teams so that they can focus on playing their offensive or defensive position. However, sometimes they still put said player back on crucial kicks and punts.

The Panthers do it with Steve Smith, and the Saints do it with Reggie Bush.

That being said, if Ginn is going to be WHOLLY USELESS as a receiver anyway, why the hell do they take him off of special teams?

exactly my point, the one phase where he is actually useful to us in KR. But for some reason we play Bess, when apparently even Sprarano knows Ginn is more dangerous.

I've been saying this the whole season. People know this bothers them, but they kept quiet because of the fact that we were winning.

This loss allows for people to mention the things about Tony Sparano that bothers them. And this is one of them.

Bess has no business returning kicks when you have Tedd Ginn on your roster. This plus the fact that they didn't go to him this game. I mean, what they threw to him once, twice?

Don't know why they haven't inserted Jason Allen into RCB to replace Goodman or why are they still deactivating Wilford? That coverage sack that Pennington had was because of not having that big bail out go up and get it type of WR.

But our main reason we lost today was our defensive scheming.

Now, I'm not saying that Goodman had a bad game today, because he actually played alright. But the scheming was what lost our game today.

But I feel that continuing to go with Bess instead of Ginn and Goodman instead of Jason Allen will come back to bite us throughout the season.

They'll wait until end of season like last year to put them in and when they perform they'll go on the annoying repenting of not putting them in earlier.

It's just boggles my mind that they look at Jacoby Jones, just outright burn through holes created by his special teams, but refuse to put Ginn in because they want to save him for running mindless deep routes and painfully obvious passing plays on line of scrimmage where entire defense sees the play coming.

How do you know if he was open or not? He was ever rarely in view of the camera.
