Anyone notice how everytime Ginn gets the ball he slides to the ground or run out of bounds as soon as he makes the catch. Even on kick return he gets pass the 20 and runs out of bounds around the 25 yardline. Im getting fed up with his scary play he does not want to take a hit.

It's why Ginn will still be playing in 10 years.

Get ready to watch the niners this week, Isaac bruce has made a HOF career out of doing exactly this. Same with Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt.

Ya he doesnt seem that tuff honestly...read in an interview of the last buffalo game that C. penny got mad at him b/c he pulled back on a slant and dropped the ball cuz he was afraid of getting hit on the play...then there are those other two plays where he didnt go for the first down (cant remember the game) and just ducked out of bounds and his dad chewed him out for it....the guy can take the hit I've seen it plenty of times...he can take it but hes still afraid !

when i saw the threads name this what i first thought ginn is a small guy if he played like boldin or ward he wouldnt make it past 6 games the guy knows that so he takes care of him self ginn is not supposed to be that guy on our team that was for wilford (should be mad at him for not playing) so i would not mind to see him dip his shoulder every now and then but the guy is tiny (a speed reciever)

Ginn isnt a North South player, he makes plays by playing the edges and using the entire field. He cuts corners, finds a hole, and then if there isnt a hole he always takes it outside. Thats how he is and always will be. But what most of u fail to realized is that if he didnt take it outside he would be getting 5 yards instead of 10 so for the most part i support his decisions to take the ball to the edges because thats where his speed can truely be utilized. As far as him not taking hits, that is definitely something he needs to improve on bc he has cost us a few yards here and there in those respects

Ask Brad Smith (a speed receiver) if hes going to take the hit from now on. Being gutsy is one thing, but being stupid is another.

the great ginn debate...

When Ginn gets a nice return or 1 nice catch early in the game, he gets turned on..
When He's not catchin, he tries to do to much and starts lookin ahead, and not cleanly grabbin the ball...

Ginn has tremendous hands and talent, he needs to overcome things like mental toughness and breaking bad habits like jumping in the air everytime...

i hope in training camp, our WR coach (whos done an AMAZING JOB) puts ginn in drills where he gets wrecked, to show it's okay you can get back up...
I dont have a big problem with him going out of bounds on certain routes, he'd cut it back inside if he thought he'd get more than 2 yards on the play...

We'll see, all i can say is, he's improved from last year, and he's taking on ALOT of double teams, which is why Bess is getting nothing but love.... Bess deserves love, but if Bess was better than Ginn, he'd face double teams and Ginn would have the better game...

I dont mind so much when he does it, as long as it isnt for a 1st down or a TD. But when he does it knowing he needs a first down its when It royally piss's me off!! He just wont be counted on for that critical drive when they need it.

this again? good idea to fight for yards and head butt 260 lb linebackers at 180 lb.

the guy RARELY drops passes and is improving weekly, I'm good with that.

He's soft, so what? His grandma isn't, and neither is his uncle's cousin.

Sincerely,
Cam Cameron
