Everybody was upset over the Ginn pick because they wanted Miami to draft Brady Quinn. I don't believe Ginn will be a true #1 WR, but I still say he was a better pick than Quinn who to this date still hasen't done jack. Based on what the two have done so far who do you think was the better pick?

both haven't lived up to their selection spot, but that could still change. Now Pat Willis, oh my would he have been a great pick... but whats done is done, lets just support the guy we got

Quinn.....just for the sake of having at least 2 #2 picks (3 if you count Pat White) we could have used elsewhere and not on a QB.

Well seeing that it looks like we are starting to block for are QB I'd say Quinn! So far in his career he hasn't had any. Although it looks like Ginn or Edwards can't make the big catch right now.

I agree, at the is point if I had to choose between the two, I would take Teddy. I also do not think Ted is a #1 and if we had a true #1 receiver, I think Teddy would be hard to stop.

Finally a tread that compairs the right two players. I agree everyone wanted Quinn and even I was in disbeilf when my buddy checked his phone that day and said Miami drafted Ginn (I was hammered at a Polar Bear Plunge).

If Miami had drafted Quinn I give it 2:1 that he would not be here right now contributing at all and even if he was the numkber 2 QB I don't think he would be starting on this team.

The bottom line is still the fact that Ginn at least contributes from week to week and Quinn (I am assuming since he can not be out Aderson he wouldn't have been able to beat out Penny) would not be so by that logic alone the Ginn pick makes more sense at least right now at this point in time.

Ask me again at the end of the year and that might change if Ginn doesn't step it up a notch.

Ronnie Brown? Or anybody else from the top 10 that year.....
See, we dont allways end up screwed!

I wanted Willis. THAT is a franchise player.

LOL Teddy is the farthest thing in football from "hard to stop". A 5 year old girl armed with a feather could tackle Ted Ginn, Jr.

He is SOFT and that's unacceptable in football. It's not his fault that he was drafted too early but it is his fault that he plays like a big poosay. I could live with the fact that he is nothing more than a decent #2 possesion WR (at best) but I just HATE that he won't block in the run game - not even try. Check him out on running plays. He is AWOL everytime.

Frankly, the Trio made a HUGE mistake by coming into 2009 with Ginn as our "best" WR. Ginn should've been trade bait during the offseason. He should've been packaged to land Cutler.

If we needed a guy to run button hooks all night for 108 yards, Bess or Camarillo could've done that and at least they would've had enough b@lls to block in the running game.

Ginn = Big Fat Poosay!!!

Remember even Singletary didn't push for Willis. He wanted someone else. Not all teams thought he would be great.

exactly no one knows how these players are going to pan out no matter how much the experts praise them take a look at vernon gholston i think thats how you spell his name anyways stud in college where is he at now? he´s probably headed to be a fa soon since he has done nothing in this league

What about 49'ers 1st round pick this year. He does not want to play for the 49'ers.... maybe we should give him a call. Big risk but damn it we need a weapon and he might be it. LOL
