Gibril Wilson had 10 tackles, finally showing up big time. Hopefully he can continue to play like this.

So, will Ginn finally break out? We'll need to wait a couple of games to see if he'll end our pain. He broke free from 3 Jets including Revis on that perfect Dan Marino-like pass by Henne, finally making the big play we've been waiting for. Lots of people think Ginn was being hampered by our former QBs and Henne is a good fit for him. It may be true, we will see.

Speaking of Henne. Man is he calm, you'd think he's been in the league for years. He has nerves of steel, which is an underrated feature for a QB. Never doubt Bill Parcells.

And how about Ricky Williams, 70 receiving yards. Where was Porter though?

i agree wilson had a great game i hope he can keep doing that now Yeremiah Bell needs to step it up

still had a stupid penalty and a few missed chances..
he was making tackles alot better this time..
he is the FS here, and we are still getting beat long consistantly, so I'm stil concerned about Gibril.

hopefully he continues to improve in the secondary cuz we have gibril and bell back there under contract for a while

that was a bad call on that penalty call
how did he get beat in the NY jets game he was covering Dustin Keller the whole game and Keller didnt make one catch there was time where he was helping Vontae and Sean but that isnt his responceabilty to be playing man to man on them that is the blame of Sean and vontae

Oh and how about Pat White? didn't do much, but that play he got a first down was perfect. Went back, surveyed the field quick to see if maybe there was someone open, then ran it for the first down seeing a hole. He seems to have the same calmness as Henne. I'd like to see a little bit more of him. I'm imagining the possibilities of Henne/White & Ricky/Ronnie. Two good QBs and two of the best RBs in the NFL. Imagine next season. I say we become super bowl contenders next season. This season isn't out of the realm of possibility, look at Arizona last year, but this season would be a huge hurdle.

I was impressed with Wilson today, I think hes getting more comfortable. Remember, theres 3 new starters in the secondary if you count Smith/Davis rotation as 2 and it takes time to build chemistry, and get comfortable.

Wilson played better than he has. He was definitely looking to lay the wood and covered well, which aside from forcing turnovers is all you can really ask of your SS. Even though he got flagged on a 3rd down incompletion, he made the Jets receivers that much more uneasy about going over the middle.

Nice hit. Sent a message. ~ GOOOOOOO FINS ~

I'm waiting for "Ray Ray" from the U. Bad mofo. ~ GOOOOOOOO FINS ~

I must have been the only one still cursing at Wilson all game. Yeah he made a lot of tackles. Whoopie...he still hasn't made a big play. He dropped a pick that hit him in the chest on the first bogus PI call and he was late with help over the top as usual. On a 3rd and 22 he had over the top coverage and was 5 yards late on the completion to Edwards. No way that should happen on 3rd and 22.
