I keep reading, how Ginn's drop in the endzone cost us the game and in my opinion that is ridicoulous. Yes he should have caught the ball, however 1 play doesn't lose a game that WE dominated and don't forget that he had 11 rec for over 100yds (alot of them on 3rd downs).

Our Defense blew it last night, the tackling was horrendous I just couldn't believe it - to me it was especially the LB's and Safety's that looked awful last night.

It was nice to see the offense play so well, and you can bet that we will give SD a game and hopefully come out with our 1st win of the season!

But one play does win the game if Ginn makes it.

The D did stink, but lets face it they were playing one of the best QB's ever. We were in a shoot out with a chance to win! Their guys made plays ours didn't!

i can see where people look at that and say if he catches it we win. but at the same time they say that because thats the play that sticks in the minds of fans and media blows it up.

how about carpenters missed field goal? how about the first play of the game where clark goes 80yds for a TD? how about the bubble screen from indy? The terrible play calling and urgency from the offense the last 3 min?

all of these plays could of won us the game if the result of the play was different.

**This is why football is a team sport. it takes everyone to win a game. not one player, not one play. but 60 minutes of tough smart football from everyone.**

Our safeties and our linebackers had BIGTIME problems covering Dallas Clark, that's for sure. Having people like Crowder covering Clark is a bad MISMATCH.

JDAM ! How about 3rd & 6 < 5min. and they're running to get into FG range. I knew w/o a turnover there was NFW the Phins were going to win the game.

In the 1st quarter Ted Ginn also short armed a ball in the endzone. Ill give it you the D did a horrible job and Pasqualoni kept sending blitzs that never got to Manning. So its partly the D fault but Pasqualoni and the coaching staff shouldve made adjustments at halftime even though the Colts only had the ball 2 or 3 times in the first half Peyton schooled our D when the ball was in his hands. Unless adjustments are made San Diegos recievers like Jackson and Gates are going to run us as well and even Sproles had 7 catches for 124 yards against the Ravens.

Whatever. Ginn is not a number one and it showed last night. He dropped more than one important pass. He is paid MILLIONS to catch a stupid ball and he can't do it.

I hope we get a veteran receiver like Brandon Marshall or somebody next year because Ginn looks like an even worse version of Chris Chambers.

Cam Cameron may be gone, but his lousy draft picks are stilkl screwing us.

Yes, Ginn DID cost us the game. And so did the D, Fasano, Wilson, missed field goals, horrible clock management at the end of the game and just SO MANY missed opportunities.
Spread the blame. It's all deserved.

Don't feel bad about the fins performance, as the colts have a habit of shaking up message boards around the country, come monday morning. There's a reason why the colts "just win", and sometimes it's the ineptitude of the opposing team, and sometimes we're just too good. It's been great chatting with you guys, and let me know when you win a super bowl.

Now for your regularly scheduled b*tching session.........:tumbleweed:

What do you mean I can see?? If Ginn catches that ball, it's a much different Tues Morn, with 27 seconds to play we would likely win.... I agree collectively the D and some coaching decisions largely lost the game but if Ginn catches what he's supposed to WE WIN

I don't blame the D as a group. The problem is we don't have anyone who can stop a good TE. Wilson is a disaster, and Y-Bell is not playing like last year. Of course, none of our LBs can even run with a good TE.

During any loss, you can point to any number of "what ifs". If the fins had that...... If the fins had done this...... you can drive yourself nuts with all the "what ifs".

The cream rises to the top, as they say. :rimshot:

There was no one on the Dolphins that was willing to step up and win the game for us.. So yes, Ginns drop did not lose the game.. but... Ginns drop, could have won the game

The Colts aren't going anywhere if their defense remains non-existant like it has been for the last several years. Enjoy the wins while you can because either New England, Pittsburgh or San Diego will make you guys look silly when it actually matters.
