The reason Mueller and Cam chose Ginn is because of DC8! Ginn will be the Randy Moss of the Dolphins!
 
I agree 100%. Who else wants to go with me to Cam's quarterback school?
 
I dont think Ginn will be Daunte's new Randy. For one thing, there completely different recievers - Ginn is an explosive run after the catch guy while Randy is a snatch the ball out of the air type. Besides, the chances that Culpepper is on our roster on opening day is pretty slim.

and Randy has the explosive run as well. Randy is more complete.
 
The point is that Daunte throws the long ball better than anyone in the league and Ginn can go get it.

The only reason Moss does so good is because he is one of the tallest recievers in the league. At 6-4 he is taller than almost any corner and can jump too which is half the reason he used to be so good. Ginn is 5-11. Although he is faster than Moss, he isnt taller than Moss. Randy picking Ginn has nothing to do with Culpepper

Give it up!Culpepper isnt the answer for this team.I as everyone else here thought he was but hes not.He cant read a defense.Besides i dont think hes ever going to be able to run the way he use to and that was a big part of why he was as good as he was.He ran around and gave his wr's time to get open.Thats gone now and his game will suffer because of it!!
 
No doubt DC could hit Ginn with a few long bombs here and there (assuming the o-line could protect Culpepper long enough for the play to develop). I can see Ginn blowing by the coverage and getting open. However, DC is not the reason Randy and Cam picked Ginn.
 
Daunte will be playing here this year because that is the front office plan. We took Ginn instead of Brady Quinn because we drafted to win now! Beck is a 2-3 year project. "DC8 to Ginn" you heard it here from the peppershaker!

wasnt moss A LOT TALLER and able to catch anything thrown? Wasnt he a refined WR coming out of college? Ginn is not, hes rough. Hes a kick returner right now that we hope can develop
