Ginn's TD catch make's #1 catch of the week on NFL.com

What I like is the only bad part of that play was CP throwing it. HE put it right where it hand to be...TG snaged it on his fingertips..Meanwhile GC was WIDE open...

I was about to post this.

I was watching the video and thought they would snub him, but they did not. There were some awesome catches today all around the league.

Yeah, guess they decided that they were going to take their shot right then....

Damn good throw by a guy with no arm...

It was one of the better deep-ball catches I've seen in some time.

Ginn really seems to be figuring out the Pro Level game. Things seem to be slowing down for him.

With his mixture of hands and speed, he really has a shot to become one of the premiere receivers in this league. He's not there yet, but he is really starting to flash that kind of ability.

I thought the same thing when the video got to the top three. "No way they include him now", I thought.

Guess I was wrong!

More importantly, Hugo...CP has Confidence in Ginn. He did not pass it to Cam.....Who was WIDE open..I mean..There was NOONE with him, to throw it deep. That was.."Here is the ball...Make a play".

I am still wondering where the flag is for D pass interference. Ed must have been shooting up again!

Interesting take, Goon.

I think that what has happened is the following:
1) Pennington looks to Camarillo when he needs short to intermediate yardage
2) Pennington looks to Ginn when he needs intermediate to long yardage

And he looks for both when he needs a clutch catch, regardless of the down and distance!

Nice to see him get noticed. It was a heck of a catch. Too bad the kickoff TD was called back. That would have been on a list somewhere as well.

Hugo..You are smarter than me in points debated, but, I'm going to fight you here. What was "Needed" was furfilled by a WIDE....WIDE open GC. What CP "WANTED" was a Touchdown. He made a bad descision. Dare I say it was Marino-esque? That was an imposition of will between a QB and WR upon a defense playing as well as a defense could play.

wow, best catch by a dolphins receiver this season..
i really like ginn's hands, he's not dropping balls, he's out there to prove all that bust talk, he's playing with alot of meaning and i'm really starting to like what he's doing for this team

Thats what makes it such a beautiful play. Pennington and Ginn decided that they wanted six points, and there wasnt a damn thing anyone from the city of Seatle could do about it. You gotta go back pre '99 to see a stiuation like that from anyone wearing a Phins uni.

It's finaly good to be a Phin again. I actually agree with what those bobbleheads at ESPN said the other day: We had a Franchise QB fall in our lap. Now we gotta do something with it.

I think you misunderstood me (probably my fault because I didn't elaborate well).

I was actually complimenting you on the point about Camarillo being open but Pennington choosing Ginn anyway (a sign of trust in Ginn).

Also, my other points were sort of generalizations about Pennington's mindset in terms of when he targets Ginn vs. Camarillo. I wasn't really talking about that specific play.

I agree that the "right" throw was to Camarillo in that scenario.
