Firing a coach after one year is pretty much a terrible idea. It happens, yes. There's pretty much no way this happens in Miami.

One year wouldn't be a "shot." He's had several opportunities already. Still , one year isn't enough to see if a coach will be successful or not within that particular organization.

He certainly has he experience, but rather have him as DC, and hire a HC that's going to be around for a while, long enough to build this team and contend.
