He went 14 of 22 for 229 yards, 2 TDs and zero INTs. He also had a big scramble of 14 yards and avioded at least a couple sacks and on one play escaped the sack and threw a 50 yard pass to Booker. I think he and the D deserve the game ball

Yea man... that long pass to booker totally blew my mind.... i so did not expect him to do that.. As soon as i saw him scramble.. i thought it was a sack.... But not only did he escape.. he pass was PERFECT...The TD passes to Chambers were perfect.
Not saying he didnt throw a few off target completions... But it was nice to see.
I just dont know why they can't get it going in the first half.

He definitely stepped up against San Diego. I been trashing him all season but he deserves props for his effort yesterday

Say what you want about Gus, but he`s a hell of an improvement over Feeley. Great game yesterday!

Hell yeah! I just don't have the fear of a pick six every time he steps back to pass.

He gets a ton of props for teh game yesterday. Yesterday was a pitcure of his career tho, inconsistency, one half/game less than stellar, next half/game, superb. I think you get what you get with Gus, he will make some plays, he will miss some. It is a degree above Jay and AJ, as Gus does make some plays and will create at some point like the play to Booker yesterday, that is something I have been dieing to see, a broken play that turns into a big play...... for US!

The Gus Bus was running on all cylinders yesterday. The question is will it remain so.

Here you go Gus:

:rofl3: :rofl3: That's Great! Really though he played his best game by far. To be honest I like winning, but would hate to have him keep the starting job next year.

He did play well! I was happy to see it. Kinda like the Denver game. I hope he can carry it through the next three games ... and beyond to the post season  (hey, you never know)

Gus is what he is - a decent QB who should probably be a B/U right now, but is the best option we have until the "next" QB takes over.

I really have no problem with Gus when he's playing poorly, as he never was intended to be a permanent solution!
