I'm so sick of seeing how we need a new WR, but they hardly ever throw to Hartline. Which in my opinion, could be a great WR if they would throw it to him more. I don't know much about his college career, but what I've seen from pre-season to present (what little I have seen of him) I think he could be great. I think the coaches are starting to see that too, but who knows?

Maybe that's because we run alot.

I would much prefer to be a team that spreads the wealth then focusing on one WR.

whats up with patrick turner? the only WR over 6 foot ?
Hartline reminds me of wanye Cherbect (from the jets )

He gets a chance everyday its called practice. He is taking advantage and getting more playing time as he goes. Turner is going the other way.

I agree, coaches are continually evaluating these guys. He gets a chance to play in every game. Get open catch the ball and make things happen. If he continues to do these things everything will take care of itself.

Hasn't he had a few penalties? For a 4th WR, that's the sort of thing you need to avoid.

Hartline can be good for us, but there's no way he can be a threat as a #1. I'd be ecstatic if he ended up being like Gonzalez but it's not likely.

I'm glad Hartline has proved me wrong basically every chance he's gotten. I was one of those guys that did NOT like the pick.

Hey this team is not afraid to make changes quickly if needed but prefer to work new players into the lineup if those changes are not so pressing. Lets face it we have been moving the ball just not holding on to it. Hartline will get more chances as he gets acclimated. OJ McDuffie for those of you who remember who was drafted in the 1st round was basically a return specialist his rookie year with hardly a pass thrown his way and went on to have a great career for us. Hartline is already ahead of Brown as a WR.
