I was just checking out the schedules for the rest of the AFC East teams for the next few weeks....New England could potentially lose it's next 2 games to Denver and Cincy....The Bills and Jets play next week so one of them will be 1-2 and they don't have a walk in the park after that either....Let's all calm down and see where we stand when the dust settles around week 8....We could be atop the AFC East....Stranger things have happened....

I had a post very similar to this which implies that I couldn't agree more. I fully expect us to go into Foxboro 2-2 and who knows, by then, we could have this mess figured out. I'm just glad we have a couple of "easy" games on tap to try and get us going. I think we vastly underrated that Buffalo defense today.

I have yet to see anything from the Dolphins this year that would lead me to believe any team is easy. I can just as easily see us going into NE 0-4 as 2-2.

Miami looks so bad we could go into NE at 0-5 .

Instead of chalking up 15 wins before the season like many did here, we should start chalking up losses..

Then we can only go up from there.

NE is week 5, we can only go in 0-4. We would leave 0-5 if we lost there.

Agreed. Telling myself these next 2 games are very winnable, but I thought that about today also. If the Fins dont get some of the problems fixed or at least show improvement, its going to be difficult to be 2-2.

Is it just me, or does this schedule look a whole lot more difficult all of a sudden????

Week 3: Sep 24 Tennessee 1:00pm (think this is gonna be close)
Week 4: Oct 1 at Houston 1:00pm (we should win this but dunno after we've been playing)
Week 5: Oct 8 at New England 1:00pm (lose)
Week 6: Oct 15 at N.Y. Jets 4:15pm (close one)
Week 7: Oct 22 Green Bay 1:00pm (If we dont win this, I jump on the Fire Saban bandwagon)
Week 8: BYE
Week 9: Nov 5 at Chicago 1:00pm (lose)
Week 10: Nov 12 Kansas City 1:00pm (hard to call)
Week 11: Nov 19 Minnesota 1:00pm (harder to call)
Week 12: Nov 23 at Detroit 12:30pm (win)
Week 13: Dec 3 Jacksonville 1:00pm (dunno)
Week 14: Dec 10 New England 1:00pm (lose)
Week 15: Dec 17 at Buffalo 1:00pm (woulda said win before today, now i dunno)
Week 16: Dec 25 N.Y. Jets 8:30pm (close)
Week 17: Dec 31 at Indianapolis 1:00pm (lose)

It's because New York, Buffalo, and Minnesota are playin much better than expected.

I don't think I could disagree more. I think 7-9 at worst and 11-5 at best. I still have all the faith.

I dont mean to be rude or anything as I'm actually kinda intrested, but faith in whom? I'm willing to give CPep another week (in which I think he blows it) after which Joey comes in and while being better, cant lead us out of a 0-3 start.

I really don't think you can pin all this after just 2 games. Remember last year after the Cleveland game? 95% of the people on here were guarenteeing that we would be taking Matt Leinart with the first overall pick. We still have the majority of those players left. Once Culpepper gets going, the rest of the offense will as well and that will keep the defense on the sideline, thus improving. Ronnie is looking good, Chambers is doing his best with what he's getting, I just think there is still a lot of talent not being seen. We'll get it fixed.

what's funny about this thread is that all of you are of the opinion of "lets sit around and see what the rest of the division is doin" type crap....when we should be out there winning games. WE CAN'T WAIT ON EVERYONE ELSE!!!! We need to win and win now...there was no excuse for that crap today...NONE!!! How does a team where their QB passes for under 90 and their HB get under 100 and wins?!?!?!! We were the first...keep talking like this fellas...all the way to week 17. PLay like this will lead to another 4-12 season.

That faith won't get the Dolphins a single more win, or a single more yard, than they would have gotten anyway with the talent and coaching they have. 11-5 is not even conceivable at this point. 7-9 is much more likely, and 5-11 is a distinct possibility. The only thing that could save this season is a total attitude transplant among the players, and that doesn't seem likely right now.
