guys i know these games of getting one td and fieldgoals are getting old, but were still winning. i think if we'd quit trying to be cute in teh redzone with playcalling some of these fgs would turn into some tds. but even with week schedule our d is looking really good this year to make up for it...granted maybe some of it is ball control offense but you gotta look at the sch

wer gave up zero offensive tds against, oak (week 11), stk (week 13), buf (week 14)

and we only gave up one offensive td against NE (week 3), sd (week 5), buf (week 8), sea (week 10)

so in 7 games we've given up 1 or less tds, and heck 4 out of the last 5 games weve given up one or fewer. i know we hate that we are keeping it close but our d is doing its damndest to bail us out week in a nd week out. they deserve probs. and i know only one of those teams has a winning record but to keep anywone out of the endzone or allow them to only reach it once is still by nfl standards a great accomplishment so lets hear it for the D and our playoff hopes :beer1:

I could live with this the rest of my life. This is a rebuilding year right?

I know the conservative offense is working so far, but would it kill them to go deep maybe once or twice a game.

We need to open up the offense a little be more, maybe go deep a couple of times, have "Ricky Brown" throw the ball from the wildcat formation.

Is Ronnie Brown ok, I know that!!!! :sidelol:

I have to hand it to the defense, they bend but don't break. I think the pass rush is still our achilles heal but they've done a great job rebounding from subpar performances.

Sporano is coach of the year IMO.

we were close alot last year, and heck if those 2 tds or 1 td games we gave up last year wouldve been stricken like last year, we were far from playoff contenders but we would be better than 1-15. living near charlotte and having the panthers be my number 2 team, ive experienced this earlier this decade, they went 1-15 losing most games by less than a td, the following season i think it was 7-9 losing by a td or less, then the superbowl the following season. hell we're already ahead of that pace. if games are that close that you are losing it has a lot to do with coaching more than talent. if games are that close that you are winning it could be either talent or coaching. i think with just a little more balls on offense we wouldnt have to rely on the D so much, but thankfully we CAN fall back on them

I like how we don't make mistakes but I would like to see slightly more aggresion. Obviously it wasn't needed in this game but I want to really put a team away one time like we did against the Pats.

No matter what happens the rest of the year, I am happier than a pig in slop.

We were 0-13 at this time last year....how sweet it now is!!!!!

our pass rush is our achilles heel, but we have a man in charge who'll get us those pass rushing OLB we need for our 3-4 defense...and i wholeheartedly agree that Coach Tony Sparano is the NFL's Coach of the Year!!!!
