to see what we have in him. We most likely don't have a starter in him but we need to find out if he is capable of being a good back-up. After this year Gus and Sage are likely gone. We've now seen why Sage has always been the back-up and never will be more than an okay back-up. Time to give Lemon a shot to see if we keep him or dump him too. We could be getting 3 new QBs next year.

No!

And Gus isn't going anywhere. He is your starter come Week 1 next year unless a minor miracle happens.

what about the possibility of Miami getting Carr or Kitna? they wouldn't be your starters?

Look... Saban knows what we have at quarterback. Which is why Sage wasnt going to start unless Frerotte got hurt. Lemon is still on the bench for a reason.

Kitna is no better than Gus.

Carr isn't going anywhere.

Yes, put Lemon in now when he isn't ready and let the fans crucify him. Smart move.

yes he is and that reason is that he needs some more time to learn this system, I am simply saying that we should start him before the end of the season but he has to have the system down

I bet he does a great job just like Sage did!

How do we know he'll have the system down? How do we know that he'll physically be ready? It's not just a matter of learning the system. He might need a change of his passing mechanics, footwork, etc. as well.

this board is really hostile lately, the losses are getting to us

Normally I would say go for it, but I can't take watching this team not believe in the QB position like I did first hand this weekend. I have never seen a team give up all hope like this team did

Start Lemon?

You guys must really like to have things to complain about.....
