Give me Keyshawn, you can keep T.O.

With dallas cutting Keyshawn no doubt to make a run at T.O. instead of getting in a bidding war for the headcase I say let's go after Keyshawn who would be a great compliment to Chambers.

My reasoning:
  1. Keyshawn has great hands and goes across the middle well, a perfect compliment to Chambers who's hands are a little suspect sometimes but makes great big plays.
  2. Keyshawn will be a better value, with Dallas, Denver and KC interested in T.O. there might be a bidding war and someone is going to lock into him for too long a period, it is only a matter of when not if he explodes again. Take the extra money saved here and on not having a second round pick and get Lavar Arrington or Chris Hope to sure up the D.
  3. Yes Keyshawn has mouthed off before, but living in PA I heard the TO stuff everyday, Keyshawn is a different type of problem child, one that can get along with a coach he respects and be a team player. T.O. is all about T.O. all the time. I just don't think we need him to get to the next level.
 
We have Booker and McMike who can go across the middle. We need that second deep threat guy. Get both TO and Chambers running down the field and have either McMike or Booker run little 5 to 8 yard sprints. No way they would be able to keep 8 in the box. Have them three out and then run Ronnie or Ricky out of the backfield with a little swing pass. That little pass could turn into a huge gain.

I hate Keyshawn.
but I think TO gives us a better chance to win.
 
keyshawn is a pylon. sure, he has great hands, but he isn't much of a threat beyond 15 yards. and he'll cry just as much as TO will if he's not getting the ball. if we're gonna have someone that complains about the playcalling, i'd rather them be an explosive playmaker than a posession wr.
 
T.O. is NOT overrated but a pain-in-the-butt BIGMOUTH! but has SPEED
Keshawn IS an OVERRATED pain-in-the-butt BIGMOUTH! but is slow as molasses going up a hill.

I'd take a chance on T.O. over Keyshawn any day.
 
No thanks on Keyshawn.....the man is slow as hell and overrated.
 
TO is all about the money...

Saban can get some guys on board because they know he's going to win a championship pretty soon. But others - it's all about the $$$. Brees may have been bluffing and trying to get Miami to shift right up until they told him they had Daunte. He blew it. There's no way TO will get his money here.
 
I take Chris and Marty and now that they have a qb they can finally show why their better than those two smartdonkey femaledogs.
 
I say no to Keyshawn. I love the fact we have Pepper now and for just a 2nd round pick. Let's see what we got foe a 2nd pick a couple of years ago..um... can you say A.J. Feely.
 
I'd rather have a loud mouth who can back it up in Owens than a loud mouth who's been overrated his entire career like Keyshawn.

Only 2 players have had more catches in their first 10 years in the league then Keyshawn. Marvin Harrison and Jerry Rice, he might be as flashy as a Moss or T.O. but he gets the job done. I don't want to touch T.O. with a 10 foot pole. The Eagles were on the brink, had a discipline coach, brought in T.O. to make a run and did get to the big game but now are in total disarray. Yes part of it was McNabb's injury but the biggest part was T.O. and the guy will tear apart his own teamates in the media if he doesn't get his way. He'll destroy what Saban has started to construct.

NO WAY TO T.O. :fire:
 
Except TO is the most dominant receiver in the game.
MeShawn is average-at-best.

Besides that, I see where you are coming from. If he accepted the vet min I'd have MeShawn. Can he kickoff??
 
his time has past and like mentioned earlier in this thread we need a deep threat which Keyshawn is not. the solution is somebody by the name of Kelly Campbell coming out of the slot
