we just need to give this guy a chance i mean really our wr's don't scare anybody why not put this 6'5 225 wr in he could make a diffrence.sometimes i just don't understand the gameplan we need help at the wr position we start ginn every sunday and he drops balls all over the place.ginn is a good kr/pr not a #1 wr i think we all agree put ginn on s.teams and give turner a shot atleast put him in around the redzone the guy has great size and had a great year for usc one of the top teams in college..:confused: :callme:
 
I too would like to see what he can do. We drafted him for this reason. But I also have to admit, I'm not an NFL coach. I'm also not a valid opinion on whats a good receiver and whats not.
If the kid isn't doing it in practice, why should the coaches put him in over someone that is? Maybe Ginn is having a rough stretch, maybe Ginn is digging his own grave...maybe maybe maybe.
Either way, I'm not a coach nor do I have enough clout to say who is and isn't worthy of dressing for game day. In fact, no one on this board does. If they did, why would they be here versus getting paid to do just that? haha
But yes, I'd love to see him make it up there and dressed and playing. Hell, Hartline did it so why can't Turner?
 
I don't understand why they make him active and don't even play the guy. He can't do special teams, so why are they making him do that? They need to give him at least a few reps..
 
well there have been alot of players for whatever reason don't practice good but when those lights come on they are unstopable.really i think he might just be thinking to much and trying to impress to much his hands and route running were never questions coming out of college this guy played great for a bigtime usc team he didn't come from some small college who played small schools scrubs he played top notch teams and had a great senior bowl game to top it all off....
 
On Crowders show Friday he stated the problem with Turner is that he runs soft routes.

Sparano & Ginn = Wanny & Fiedler

Turner is having trouble running routes. He doesn't have to start in his rookie season; he has a whole career to get started.

Have you been watching the same team? Ginn has been replaced in the starting lineup by Hartline. Bess has been moved to the #1 WR, and has stepped up the past few games. The problem that comes up with keeping Ginn out of the line up is he is the only offensive player that has big speed. With no Cobbs we have no one else that has game breaking speed.

Wanny brought Feidler to Miami, while Sparano did not draft Ginn. Dave had infinite paitience with Jay, but Tony has already benched Ginn(the 2nd Jets game Ginn only returned kicks.)

Big speed with no hand is ZERO. Plenty of track stars out there can run a 4.0 40. Means nothing.

Ginn can't run routes or catch. Why is he getting more reps than Turner?

Maybe that is a signal just how bad Turner's routes are.

Remember, that Turner is in year 1. He may need a couple of seasons to get started. If he is not ready, then he needs to work harder to get ready.
