Are you kidding? Luck started in a new system as a rookie and he too a 1 win team to the playoffs!

Insightful. Powerful. Thought provoking.

10/10 would read again.

this is what I am talking about. yes give him THIS year, is the next Peyton Manning walking through the door? is there a mid-year college draft I hadn't heard about?

if we don't win this year the **** will hit the fan, you don't have to cry and scream every game.

So you are suggesting we should trade RT for Luck straight up?
Sure sign me up. Perhaps Irsay will do it in a drunken stupor.

Look had a lot more weapons in Indy in his first year than Tannehill. Put Luck with Sherman and we will see how well he does.

What kills me is that head to head Tannehill outplayed Luck and Wilson. It's hard to just bury the kid when he's flashed as much as he's come up short.

Lazor is a no-nonsense guy. The performance today looked pretty bad and Lazor will be putting a lot of pressure on Tannehill. Yes, it's a new system and the protection wasn't great and will improve when Pouncey returns but this is a big challenge and we see what character Ryan has from here. Blame could probably be allocated to all parties on today's performance. Up until today, I have believed that Tannehill is capable of being a successful QB. However, I cannot defend the indefensible. The inaccuracy of some of the passes was obvious and he looked tentative at times.
Philbin and Lazor are realists. We want to maximize the chances of success and Tannehill has been given many chances. We need to see significant improvement quickly.

Franchise QB's are available in every draft, that's why every other team but Miami has one.

Every QB has warts, none of them are perfect. All have issues that have to be worked around, but that being said there are also certain things that are deal breakers. One of those deal breakers is accuracy. It's not enough to know where to go with the ball if you can't get it there. Ryan's accuracy is worse this year than it was last year. Maybe the the footwork that Lazor worked out with him is taking some time to become 2nd nature, or maybe he has some injury we don't know about, but one thing is for sure, he has to get it figured out soon or this franchise will have to go in a new direction next offseason.

One player that I have liked is Cousins but with RG3 down for awhile Cousins might prove to be too good for them to be willing to trade. I have been 100% behind Ryan from the start, but the window is closing. This is his last year for my support if he can't get it figured out.

I agree 100%. I hope he suceeds, but if he fails this year it's time to move on from him and Philbin. I don't think he sees the field well and his ball placement and long ball accuracy is down right terrible. Hope he gets it straight and proofs me wrong.

Yeah but he's just too inconsistent and that seems like a characteristic of his that he cannot change. I know what you mean though, it's tough since he's been the closest thing to a franchise qb that we've had in a long time.

Screw the weapons. Every Sunday we can see awesome passing by other QB's. As far as bashing Sherman all the time, everyone should include Philbin, because Philbin would still have him here if he could have. IF you are down on Sherman you should perhaps be down on our coach too.

+1000

A good QB can make an average WR look like a Pro Bowler. Geno Smith was bad last year, but he threw some beautiful passes today. IMO, in one year he's already better than Tannehill.

nick foles didnt need years to adjust to this system.
