The elite QBs are the ones who can make it work with anything. Brees brady manning rodgers it doesnt matter. Everybody wants to talk about the weapons tannehill was given but i stated since day one keller was the best signing yet he was injured. Wallace & hartline are both B+ WRs who never ever ever will go up and fight for a ball or bail their QB out. Watch matthew stafford throw it up to calvin johnson sometimes he doesnt even look at where he is throwing he just knows megatron will bail him out. Same with dalton and green. Same with romo and bryant. We are now seeing what an alpha WR means to a QB with matt ryan. With julio jones out there matt ryan is elite. Without him he is a middle range QB. Elite WRs can make your QB look alot better. Look at the hail mart vs tampa bay final play believe it or not wallace had a shot at that ball. If that were calvin johnson that might of been a catch. Who is bailing out tannehill. Who can he rely on to chuck it up when the pocket is collapsing. Hartline? Clay? Wallace? Who can he throw it up to in the red zone? The kid is forced to work with smallish finesse WRs who cant separate while dalton has a plethora have big targets he can go to. Put tannehill in the bengals offense. All im saying is give the kid a WR he can depend on. A seam threat he can depend on and then judge. I think tannehill has played well for having no oline no WRs who will fight for him no seam threat and no run game. Would love if we took evans out of A&M watch tannehills game improve. I wont fully evaluate him until he gets the weapons a franchise QB deserves. And no idc if luck doesnt have any big targets luck is a different breed.

Tannehill doesn't need anything more than what he has IMO. No more excuses for this guy, He just needs to make plays. Get on the same page with all his receivers and not rely solely on slot routes. The fact he can't hit Wallace in stride in concerning. Other receivers needs to the ball sooner and non target for more YAC.

The "get him weapons"argument is bull****. He has weapons. Maybe it isn't everyone else. Maybe it's him.

What does he have? Please tell me? An overrated possession WR in hartline who should not be playing the Y. A one trick pony wallace who wont fight for the ball? Oh so he has an hback in clay and daniel thomas. Compare that to aj green eifert green ellis bernard gresham

Yes..... Elite WR's come around every day.

We did have Marshall though!

Ok, but look at every team Miami has played this year and their skill position players and tell me those guys aren't better than what Tannehill has to work with every time. Other than Wallace, Miami has very few run after the catch players. Hartline is a fall down after the catch player and the rest do little unless there are just missed tackles. Look at Jimmy Graham last night for NO. Catches a dunk over the middle and turns it into 40 yards.

Our receivers fall down after catching the ball because they're: 1 getting the ball in traffic and are going to get hit, and 2 the ball is poorly placed.

Stop defending a mediocre QB. Tom Brady goes our there and wins with ****ing NOBODIES.

Our wr corp is not a concern. Once tannehill and wallace get on the same page , we will excel in the passing game.

What he needs is a TE and a offensive line.

100% agree....Matthews and Gibson fit this offense extremely well, Hartline is HArtline, nothing spectacular, but can move the chains, dependable, and "savvy". Wallace is the homerun threat, granted he's not a WCO guy, he has talent to make big plays....once Tannehill and him get that trust, look out.

I would like a TE to go along with Clay (is has been very good)....if the O-line wasn't an issue I would love to have Ebron out of UNC...

Our buddy Omar is ripping Tanne on twitter now. I have to admit some ugly stats (worst 4th quarter passer rating in the NFL).

Omar does it for the reaction....then complains when people react...

Dude, the term elite QB has been significantly devalued if Matt Ryan is a member. He's decent.
Andy Dalton??? is pretty good for a carrot top but should not enter this conversation.

He had a great 4th quarter passer rating until he started throwing up Hail Mary interceptions.

Hate to say it but Phil Simms was right about those.
