supreme confidence now anytime i see tannehill have a clean pocket that hes gonna throw a dart right on the money. you saw it the last 2 drives of the ram game. you saw it yesterday anytime he had time to throw. freakin lasers hitting his guys in stride and only where they can catch them.

Tannehill has played at an elite level in 2 of his past 3 games.

and the 1 game he didnt play at an elite level he played at an elite level when it mattered the most and won us the game.

Literally.

Give him like 20 years and he will indeed be a surgeon

Tannehill was about as perfect as a quarterback could be yesterday. Very impressive with accuracy, deep ball, decision making, sensing the pocket and making plays on the move.

I still want to see him slide when he's scrambling. Don't think it's worth those extra yards (in most cases) to take those hits from the defense.

He graduated pre-med and wants to go back to med school after football to become an orthopedic surgeon. A lot of Dolphin fans are probably very surprised, but he is a genuinely smart guy. Note, Ryan is not the only prospective doctor in the NFL - the Kansas City Offensive Lineman, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif from Montreal.

Thanks for this info - There was also that RB for the Vikings back in the late 90's maybe - wanna say Robert Smith - he left pretty much in his prime to become a doctor.

Edit: quick google search says nothing about smith becoming a doctor - my memory is probably making stuff up again...

All the reason to draft olineman or pilfer fa to make the lime nasty. A stellar o line would take us very far.

The Rolles (Myron) had a Rhodes scholar that's currently in med school or just finished

We signed a runningback in 1982 from Yale named rich diana. He only got 8 carries before retiring and went back to school. He's an orthopedic surgeon here in CT.
