I was baffled by the decision to give a rookie WR with little to no experience on special teams the kick return job in the first place, but its time to admit the experiment has failed. First thing tomorrow morning Thigpen needs to be given a roster and announced as the teams returner.

On another note I thought Landry's main claim to fame was his hands? Whilst he has made some nice plays what's with the multiple messed up returns and dropped passes? A little worrying in my eyes. He has clearly failed as a returner. Maybe the drops will go away when he has fully focused on being a wr

I still do not like thigpen. Sure, Landry had a fumble, thigpen does the same. I like what I saw from Williams. Give him a shot.

Not as often as Landry he doesn't. Thigpen was middle of the road, Landry is a complete liability in the role.

Landry is at least dynamic and can make plays. Thigpen was ok his first year and pretty mediocre last year. No thanks. You have to realize Landry is a rookie and will have his mistakes.

Im aware he is a rookie and thats fine as a wr. But his mistakes on special teams are potentially game changing. A single mistake is one thing but its starting to become fairly consistent issues. I'm fine with rookies learning on the job but not when its costing turnovers and valuable field position

That's true. I just think his chances of taking it to the house or having an above average return is much greater than Thigpen's.

I don't see that at all. He is the slowest WR on the team, and his strength was supposed to be how reliable he was. That hasn't been the case. I agree with the OP, time has come to call a spade a spade. He doesn't take care of the ball well enough. Even on the plays when he doesn't fumble it looks like he is about to. He doesn't take care of the ball on returns or in run after the catch. He is a rookie playing like a rookie, which isn't a bad thing. He will get better but we shouldn't force him into the lineup when we have better options.

Landry looked pretty good, fluid and in synch with Tannehill today. I'd strongly prefer he concentrate on route running and leave the returns to someone else.

Thigpen should be the last resort. He regressed every year to the point last year he would have been better fair-catching every punt and taking the touchback every kickoff.

If you don't like landry then go with Williams.
