make a draft day trade for next years picks (3-5 round) along with this years mid round (have to look at value chart to see if that much is even needed) and move back into say the 2nd round or even the first round (unlikely)? I personally hate trading future picks but if the dolphins say were sitting at 13 and Elliot (rb) and Apple were there, do you take Elliot and then trade back up into the first and grab a guy like Jackson (if they feel he will be gone) or into the 2nd ( using our third plus possibly next year) for Alexander/burns or even fuller? That way you get the RB and two solid corner prospects.

Just thinking about it and maybe this year makes sense to make some moves if the cards fall. It is a shame that Jordan had multiple drug suspensions. He could have been good ammo for a draft day trade in the 2-3 round to get another pick.

Not sure that effect Elliot would have on Ajayi though and corner is a more pressing need but you could potentially kill two birds with one stone. The line is also a possibility here if the chips fall in our favor.

No thanks! We are going to loaded in next years draft with picks and salary cap space. We need to give Gase a chance to mold the team how he wants it. We are not one player away and need every last bit of help. No way we can afford to trade picks away, especially to move into the middle of round 1. If there was some crazy plan to get Myles Jack or Jaylen Ramsy, then maaabbyyeeeeeeeeee its worth a look, but there is no one else I LOVE in round 1. Especially at a price of 2 picks or possibly more. Definitely NO for anyone in round 2.

No not into the middle of round one. This would be a back end of round 1 (unlikely) or into round two or three using 3rd and 4th round picks to move up in conjunction with next year. Also given miami's HORRIFIC free agent history, I don't put any faith in the F.O. to use cap space wisely next year.

Definitely not into the back end of round 1 or 2 or 3. Myles Jack might be the only guy I'd wanna trade for and that still depends a lot on the compensation.
