... you would have to say the Phins would be the best and hottest team in the NFL.
Let's look at the facts:
  • Broke (or nearly broke) numerous NFL and Franchise records the past 2 weeks
  • Dominated the fantasy polls
  • Essentially destroyed the opposition
  • Everyone is currently healthy (so adequate barometer)
  • Team is actually still IMPROVING
  • Hypothetically, beating the Pats (NFL champs) in their own house after a flawless start to their season.... especially if convincingly?

You would have to say the Dolphins are the best and scariest team. How could you not?? Would you need another week to prove it? I wouldn't.
Sure, we may see some falloff... but the week-to-week would say we are currently the team to beat, IF we beat the Pats.

I think kickoff needs to come a little faster. Hypothetically, yes, hypothetically we would be a very hot team who would be dangerous to play.... hypothetically. Then again, it's the hypothetically's that got this team to 1-3.

If we beat the patriots tomorrow, we will be seen as very dangerous. That said, we are still dangerous despite a loss. I'm excited for tomorrow, that's for sure, but I'm not throwing in the towel if we lose.

Let's just see what transpires tomorrow night first. We've typically rewarded national attention by laying giant turds on national tv so....

If we happen to win tomorrow night, NO ONE will be giving us credit. The story will be that the Pats lost, and debating if they just had an off game and llet their guard down, or if they are slipping. No one will be discussing us being the better team.

If we lose, it will be "same old Dolphins," and those two wins will be written off due to sub-par opponents.

the Pats and Brady are light years away from the Titans and Texans

but we can still definitely smack them in the mouth from jump street and let them know this is football not chess(which we will)

will we be out-schemed? don't know. will we be out-fought? hell no

We beat 3 of the worst teams in the NFL for our wins. The Pats game will tell us.

Miami has a chance to expose the fraudulent Pats. Their gimmick offense and one-dimensional offense will finally be exposed.
In the NFL, it takes one game for the world to see you on film. NE's offensive line is patch work. I know Brady throws quick, blah blah bla. But if you give the defense the ability to ignore the run, personnel and coaches in most teams will eat that up

Given the fact that we went on the road against Tennessee and beat up on their top 5 defense, I'm not so much worried about the Patriots defense and our ability to score points. My concern is whether or not our defense can limit their offense...
