Givens signs with the Titans

Thanks for the info but I really could care less about him...59 catches for 738 yards and two touchdowns... not exactly the stats of a superstar.
 
Givens is going to get a lot of scratch. He has contracts with the Browns, Patriots and Titans now. :lol:
 
Good, I really didn't want him. I think we can do better elsewhere or stick with what we have.
 
Who needs him when you've got Chambers..?:D

This is actually good news because the saints were trying to lure Givens over to NO .... this would have been a good selling point to Brees - more factors in our favor to justify less money - IE a better recieving Corps.
 
Givens is going to be a big number one in the NFL soon. People forget the kid is like 25 years old. He still has a good eight years in NFL life, he will be real good soon. I wish we could have gotten him.
 
Wrong. David Givens would have made a fine compliment to Chambers. Can't see what they paid, as that link isn't working for me.

Regardless, he's an excellent receiver who will catch 60+ and threaten 1,000 yards with Tennessee.
 
I didn't want Givens either but Saban seemed interested in him.

This Brees debacle is letting other FA slip through our fingers.
 
People just don't like Booker do they? He caught almost every pass that was thrown to him and his last year with Chicago he established himself as a probowl WR. I say lets get a starting qb and give the man a chance before we pay another WR top dollar.
