Nice find. How did you do it? No link from their home or news pages?

Found it on another message board. No news sites have it up yet to my knowledge, it may be that someone on the Browns site jumped the gun.

Wow, Cleveland is moving really fast. I guess when you have so much money under cap, you can do alot of things.

I think Zastudil will be a better Off-season Acquisition then Givens...

Cleveland Browns just re-signed LJ Shelton. What the hell? CLEVELAND IS ON A ROLL.

David Givens is a really good receiver. Too bad we didn't grab him. =(

Givens is pretty good, but I don't think he is in the same league as Branch. I don't see him as anything more than a good #2. Which is fine for the Browns, Edwards looks like he will develop into a top receiver.

The Givens to Cleveland report was a sham.

how do you know roman?

EDIT: never mind...wasn't doubting you, just wanted to know where you got that from.

anyway, i did find this on PFT

GIVENS RENEGED ON BROWNS, TOO?
We've tracked down more information regarding the events that caused David Givens to go from being inadvertently announced as a new member of the Browns before free agency even started to dropping off of the team's radar screen altogether.
Givens, we hear, had a verbal deal in place with the Browns. But, like LeCharles Bentley in Philly, Givens backed out, presumably because either or both of those teams came up with more money than the Browns had offered.
Now, Givens will focus on the Dolphins and the Texans.
Although there's nothing improper about backing out on a deal that never should have been reached in the first place due to tampering rules, look for any teams left standing at the altar to remember, for a long time, the agents involved in these transactions.
