Giving tannehill a alpha WR, stud RB, & seam threat TE couldnt hurt right?

How can you say it's Tannehill when our oline has been swiss cheese. I honestly can't intellgently grade Tanny one way or the other. The kid has a guy in his face on a 3 step drop for crying out loud. We all now at some point in the 4th quarter we are getting a sack from the left side followed by a sack from the right side. This unit has given up over 40 sacks the most in the league, soi how can you grade out Tannehoill when he is running for his life?

Thank you. But he stole the line from a movie. He must have been watching it alone in his basement when he typed that brainless response.

"stealing" a line from a movie is a quote and reference...

Have to stop putting the offensive line on the backburner. You can have as many playmakers as you want on offense but it doesn't matter if you can't block.

Problem is it never was on the back burner. We've drafted OL early and often and signed them as FA. Problem is Ireland wouldn't know a quality OL if they shat in his mouth.

Now once again we probably need to draft more OL early when we should be at the point of filling the team with more early round playmakers. If JI is drafting again next year I think we will continue the same vicious cycle and I'm not sure I can take watching it happen again.

You always want your QB to have a lot of weapons, but right now the #1 priority on offense needs to be fixing the offensive line (it doesn't need to be great, just ACCEPTABLE) and bringing in a good running back.

I'd also like to see a coach who actually uses the team's rare talents like Reggie Bush or Mike Wallace, but ehhh

Giving the existing players on the team better quarterback play couldn't hurt, right?

Let's face it. Tannehill is who he is and that is a below average QB. He will never be a Pro-Bowler. Last year the excuse people made was he didn't have any weapons. This year they went out and got one of the 3 fastest WRs (and a Pro-Bowler) and he is still not producing. Many would argue that he played a part in getting Keller and Gibson hurt with inaccurate throws. We hear all off-season that this had to be the year he makes the next step and clearly hasn't. In fact, Nick Foles has now passed him in the 2012 QB class. He is out of excuses as far as I am concerned. If you cannot complete deep balls in this league, you better be a Joe Montana, Bob Griese or a Chad Pennington. And he is none of those guys. I am not saying the Dolphins should make QB a priority in the off-season, because they do have Matt Moore. But if one suddenly slips in the draft, they have to consider him.

That was the most preposterous combination of drivel I have ever heard

I definitely want dustin keller back. the WR corps is very good we need to block better and that's about it.

So why dont we? If i were the gm if i want this kid to make the giant leap i make sure i identify all 3 of these vital pieces for my young qb to grow. No clay is not a seam threat he is an hback learn the difference. No wallace is not an alpha wr but he would be dangerous opposite one. Draft evans outta a&m. Find a stud running back shoulda kept bush but identify one. Do these 3 things and fix oline then watch tannehill grow.

And what exactly would Reggie Bush have done by the lack of blocking? REGGIE BUSH HAS JUST 145 MORE YARDS RUSHING THAN LAMAR ON 40 MORE CARRIES, AND THEY BOTH HAVE RUSH FOR AN IDENTICAL 2 RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS, EACH AS 4 RUNS OF +20 YARDS. Mike Wallace was RATED the #1 UNRESTRICTED F.A. WR. Here's the list let me know outside of what you know now would have sign over Wallace, http://walterfootball.com/freeagents2013WR.php. While we are at, here's the list for 2014 F.A. Wideouts, and tell me which one resume is better than Wallace's.. http://www.kffl.com/static/nfl/features/freeagents/fa.php?option=WR&y=2014?? So we are going to find this Alpha receiver in the draft ? without drafting him in the top 5 picks? Yeah okay good luck with that. Nevermind the fact we have 100 million dollars invested into are top three Wideouts now, so where in the hell are we going to find money for another Alpha with out taking tremendous cap hit.? This is your team to buddy, can you just think for a second? Keller blew out his knee, and Clay has picked up the slack, we have a young Lamar Miller, and get over this Fantasy of the imaginary seem Tight End who will just appear out of thin air. And by the way Charles Clay has more Receiving Yards and Touchdowns, than most of the SEEM tightens drafted in the last two years. Don't let the facts get to you..

Dude our GM brought in a TE called Keller, we have a good solid #2 in Hartline. So he doesn't get YAC but he is smart, doesn't make stupid penalties and catches almost anything. I agree in the RB department. THey are switching back and forth between DT and Miller. SHould of kept Bush.

when is RT going to make the players around him better?

That was the most preposterous combination of drivel I have ever heard
Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Aaron Rogers, Robert Griffin III, Matthew Stafford, Ben Rothlesberger, Jay Cutler, Colin Kaepernik, Joe Flacco, Tony Romo, Alex Smith and now Nick Foles ARE ALL BETTER THAN Tannehill. I just listed 19 starting QBs. Since there are 32 starters, that makes Tannehill BELOW AVERAGE. PERIOD. If you think that's preposterous then I can't help you.

What in God's holy name are you blathering about?

Well given that he's already turned Brian Hartline into a 1,000 yard receiver, I guess my answer to that would have to be "his rookie season."

There needs to be an age limit on this site. Matt Moore still sucks.
