the crying cedric benson would have been a bad mistake.The way we was blaming everybody on how bad he was treated and the tears made me ill he's going to be a millonaire. there is no crying in football oh ya i forgot hines ward does. let me know how you feel.
 
i think ronnie was the best pick. what was up wit the cryin :cry:

I think crying was a little much. But maybe the kid has been stressed, worrying about sh*t. I like him and think he will be comparable to Brown. Either way we were to go we were golden. Only knock on Benson is all the wear and tear. 4 year starter I believe. Ronnie Brown is extremely fresh.
 
he got emotional, showed how important this really was for him and how serious he takes the ****... i think that was telling for a player that some teams questioned his heart and desire to play football... but all hes gone through to get here the bad reputation hes gotten, unfair comparisons, all that and its over and he was emotional about it, dont see whats wrong with that... he'll do great for the bears and i wish him the best of luck...
 
Don't knock somebody for crying. I can't imagine what it would be like to be drafted and to go through all that these guys go through. He's also not the first person by any stretch to get emotional at the draft.

And you or any other person has no right to knock Hines Ward. I personally would love to have a guy on the Dolphins who cares that much about his team.
 
I'm Benson's BIGGEST FAN but I don't get what the deal with him looking PISSED when the bears took him was, lol. But yeah, either one we went with we woulda been golden, and I think Benson is going to have a great career and wish him all the luck.

Benson said he was put through hell during interviews, that teams acted like they were trying to tear him down instead of interviewing him. people questioning your character that much, and tell you to your face that your not a good person, and then getting it all over with and you get your dream come true after all that, he has a right to be emotional.

i still say Benson was the best RB in the draft, just cause we drafted Brown wont change my opinion. I hope Benson destroys the NFL.
 
Im not. I wish we took Benson. Those were emotions comming out. He'll show up on game day just you watch. The kid has moves and isnt just a straight ahead runner. Im still favoring Ronnie now that he's ours, put Im just making my claim.
 
I didn't mind him crying, like the guy said above it shows how much he actually cares about playing football and just discredits all those people who questioned his motivation to play football who thought he was like Ricky.

I too wish we took him, but what are we gonna do, Brown is our guy, and if we HAD to pass on Benson, it might as well have been for Brown, and I woulda accepted Caddy too. I wish Benson the best of luck and hope he proves all the doubters wrong
 
those weren't tears of joy and alot of people go through worse, he was the number 4 pick in the draft.secondly hines ward said when he was crying that they deserve to be in the super bowl . but they didn't the patriots did.
 
I didn't mind the crying. I minded that he complained about being treated unfairly in his interview. It's minor, but it's a hint about his character. I'm glad he's not a guy we will be depending on.
