Glazer: Redskins acquire 2nd pick from Rams

Brutal trade for the Skins. Brutal. TOO MUCH!!! That is classified as trading the farm for him. Glad the Fins did not bite.
Its gotta be worse than what N.O. traded for Williams and possibly worse than what Minny traded for Walker... depending on how it all turns out.

So RGIII is headed to the Redskins. Appears Manning is headed to the Broncos. That leaves Miami competing with the Browns and Seahawks for Matt Flynn.

I am missing something about Manning going to Denver...

They basically gave up 2 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder to move up 4 spots. Not bad if you think that guy is THE GUY. I think if u are sure/convinced that this is ur franchse QB no price is too much.

Im not bought that Manning is a bronco. Lift your head up. Its not over till its over. Manning isn't going to fall for the first team he meets. Chill out. Your negativity is like poison.

It all depends on who it turns out as you said.

Gotta take a risk in this league...

Redskins and Dolphins have both been QB starved...

Matt Moore is not the ****ing answer either...

We need a QB badly...

The thing I dont get is why this deal had to be done?

Cleveland wasnt going up there. What if they ended up with Flynn?

This is Snyder's greatest downfall. He is an impulsive buyer. He didnt need to do this now. He could have waited until draft day for crying out loud.
The price is ridiculous not because of all the picks, but because of all the picks when this really was not necessary. Snydiepoo got his feelings hurt by Peyton.

So what if you roll the dice, pay that huge price, and it flops, crippling your team for the next 5 years. Was that worth it?

I don't think he's worth all that. I'm glad the Fins didn't make that trade.

anybody remember what RG3 said about the team that gets him being able to keep draft picks and getting more guys around him?

start laughing.

They have been mediocre for 15 years...

They are like us...bad QBs on the roster...

Gotta take a risk.

so we got manning, flynn and tanny. I don't buy that arizona is ready to move on from Kolb after one season, and i'm not completely sure cleveland has completely given up on Colt. And to be honest the hawks were a completely different team when Tarvaris Jackson was in the lineup. Honestly I think manning is just going around driving up the price the dolphins are gonna have to pay.

Im not goingto disagree, but that is ALOT to give up, and we would have had to give up WAY more than Washington.

A lot of bitter folks on the site tonight.

Their fans are going nuts...Finally getting a chance to get a potential franchise QB...

While many on this site are content with crappy Matt Moore...

Not that I would necessarily do it but... not doing something within that realm for a decade and our team has still been crippled. Whether you are crippled by taking a shot on a guy you deem as the franchise and he busts or cripple your team by always being safe and never being bold...you're franchise still sucks.
