Glenn Sees A Future Star In Crowder

OH YEAH Ray Lewis step aside for Channing Crowder.
 
LOL. Wow, glowing remarks from Glenn. I just hope Jason Glenn steps up and becomes one of the next great linebackers. He's got to know that it's possible for him, he's got some tools to work with.

Yup he's got the chance. If he steps up then Crowder takes the middle from Zach next year, Junior retires and Zach moves to weakside and Glenn could earn the SLB spot away from Spragan since he's more versatile (although I really love Spragan's ability to disrupt the OL).
 
I don't want to take anything away from Spragan...I see Glenn as more of a passing down SSLB and Spragan as a running down SSLB.

All I'm sayin is Glenn needs to concentrate on Glenn being the next great LB.

I still see Spragan in the mix since you need 4 starting quality LB's in your 3-4 packages. I just think Spragan only hits the SLB spot on clear run/blitz downs and becomes more of the run stopping/blizting LB in the 3-4. He's solid but I see Glenn as the one with the playmaking ability while I see Spragan as the dirty work/grunt guy.
 
i agree. i had no opinion of Crowder, but he really impressed me in the Bucs game. i dont really care for the jumping around and yelling, but hes good
 
oh yeah about time we got some good news :)

Second, that's saying a lot by Glenn.
