GM Hickey on Joe Rose show

Is Joe Rose leaving..I listen to him from Jville and every once in a while he makes comments as if he is?

I can't get their audio streams to play for some reason.

I used to be able to hear them, about a month ago they just stopped playing.

I don't have any problems with any other sites or audio or video files.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hmm, its possible I guess. His show basically got raided when Greg Likens left to Finsiders and Zach Krantz moved to the afternoon hours. The guy does a lot between the radio show and TV sports casts and Dolphins broadcasting. I could see him leaving the show to concentrate on other things.

Im a big joe rose fan, he is basically the only miami radio show I have much time for. Guzio, Zach and Likens is sure a big loss. Ive heard talk on here he is leaving (has been around here for ages) but never saw anything beyond fh

this happens to me in the university library - the podcasts still work for me though, you just need to skip through them for the interview

Dennis seems to have a plan and wants to make it work. Good luck to him.

Joe Rose is damn good at what he does. I live in Chicago and stream shows from around the country, and Rose is as good as there is....anywhere.

Apart from the Miami market Joe rose is just another guy. He would be making a mistake to leave

I remember listening to MadDog's first interview of Henne post draft. He was soooo excited to have a Mich alum to root for, he even offered his house to him if he needed a place to crash until he got settled.

Joe is good, but the soul of local radio died first with Neil Rodgers (another tremendous sports fan) and then sadly Mad Dog.

I like Joe but i think Langer is right. His connection to the team and former players like Marino give him a nice platform that he would not have in other cities.
I love when he has former team mates on and they recount pranks and funny stories from the Dolphin's glory years. Leaving this market would be a mistake if you asked me.
He always gets the best interviews so I hope he stays. The other guys on WQAM are just meh.

Is it just me or does Dennis Hickey just sound like he understands the GM position extraordinarily well?

I'm excited to see how he handles the draft. No Ireland Busts, Please!
