After last year fizzled out and many dissapeared we held over the prize so this year the winner takes home $150. We'll try to organize a 2nd and 3rd place prize, but no promises. Within the next day or so we'll have decided how to determine the winner.

Well thats nice for those of us that completed the year, we were even promised some kind of badge that never happened, and then, those of us that did stay the whole year weren't even offered first shot at teams this year..........count me out this year.

In the past this has always been for fun and nothing more. That money is coming out of Stan's pocket, not from the website. So I wouldn't complain. As for the teams you can blame me. I went to the old board and sent PMs to most of the people before I posted it on the main forum. The main thing is we got a late start and didn't have time to allow a week or whatever for people that were around last year to come make their pick. It's alot easier to just play than to run the thing. It is very time consuming and we get nothing for it. I wouldn't complain if I were in your shoes.

Do you have any idea how busy the admins on this site are? They probably had more important things to do then give u a badge.

Ridiculous right? Anyways, yeah this is my 1st year doing this, but just thinking about it starting to get into it, it's obvious the work that you guys have to put into this. If anything, the money shouldn't be coming out of youralls pockets... it should be a pool from the players or something... Everybody throws in 5 bucks or something. That would also eliminate the people that won't play for real. Just a suggestion though...

Best of luck everybody (except for the Cowboys and Redskins and then the sorry *bleep* that takes over the Giants :evil:)

P.S. Are we allowed to talk trash during this... or are we "bigger than that"?

I could care less, I'm not blaming Stan, I'm blaming the owners of the messageboard.

If you promise something in a contest you have to follow thru, its that simple. And yes, they did promise badges for the top three places.

Its no sweat really, I just changed my mind after thinking it all over and the amount of time it takes....you all knock yourselves out.

Last Year everyone voted (at least active teams voted)...for top 3 places...each place was worth a certain amount of points..
