flores really goes out of his way to say absolutely nothing. its like you can see his mind going through all of the permutations of what he is about to say and how it could be used against him, and then ultimately says nothing.

willie mcginest seems like a nice guy but makes a lot of mistakes. hes twice now said tua has a lot of weapons with Willie Snead and John Brown (both Raider WRs). i assume he has that in his mind as they will be covering the raiders later today.

tua is about to be interviewed by them. he is well spoken, but would like him to have a little more of a confident, alpha demeanor. he comes across as a genuinely nice guy, speaks from the heart. i like a qb with a little more of an edge, ala jim mcmahon back in the day - maybe not that extreme but leaning that way. however it is 2021 so those days may be over. more of the buttoned up ceo type is whats expected and required from a qb.

I can count on one hand, the number of press conferences Brian Flores does. I already know he wasn't going to give us anything.
 
Reporters are less interested in sports and more interested in drama.

Functional organizations keep things in-house. That is part of being an effective coach.

It allows the team to say focused on their purpose, to win football games.
