Instead of trading for Trent Green, perhaps the Dolphins should offer a trade for Green and Eddie Kennison. The two most difficult positions to learn in this offense is QB and WR. Getting both would help out tremendously. Both are older, but Kennison has played very well the past 3 years. He didn't have 1000 yards this past season like he did the 2 seasons before, but remember the Chiefs offense went ultra conservative when Green went down.

A 3rd and a 4th might enable the Dolphins to get both.

I disagree. If these two players were the key to a Superbowl run, then I would consider such a trade. At this time, I would prefer the draft picks and building from within. The draft is rich in wide recievers so adding another veteran is not really needed. Trent Green is still talented, but by the time he learns the offense our season will likely be lost for the playoffs. I'd rather get a 2nd or 3rd round QB and let Cameron groom him over a year.

The thing is Green already knows the offense (as does Kennison). This is a variation of the same offense Green ran in Washington, St. Louis and Kansas City. In fact Green and Cameron worked together in this offense in Washington. Green and Shea worked together in this offense in Kansas City.

this years draft class has many Recievers so we need to draft one!!, also a QB like stanton, kolb, zambransky, zac taylor, chris leak, troy smith.
WR- ted ginn, dwayne jarett, robrt meachem, steve smith, etc.

i actually think that that would be a good idea....they have built up chemistry together and in todays nfl that is sometimes hard to comeby....

If they came without giving up draft picks, wouldn't mind Trent Green and Culpepper fighting for a starting position. However, I would still draft a QB to groom.

Give up a 3rd and a 4th for two players who might only be here for two years? If we do trade for either player, we should not give up any day one picks.

We are trying to get out of the rut we have been in the past 5-6 years. We need to get away from the quick fix/stop gap mentality and build for the future.

BTW, the Chiefs did not go ultra conservative under Huard. He threw over 220 passes during his 8 starts and KC scored over 30 points in 4 of those games.

NO TO BOTH!!!! Green is a dinosaur. Besides i would rather have Randy Moss then Kennison.

Please no. Personally, this draft is rich in Wrs. Why give up a pick for an old Wr when you can get someone that is probably just as good if not better and younger. I truly believe that they only way we are going to get Green is if he is released.

Green is finished, he showed nothing last year after coming back off that concussion. IMO he is a bigger injury risk than C-Pep. Kennison is nowhere near as good as Booker.

agree with that 100% who was the qb from the steelers a few yrs ago concussion turned him into a deer loking into the headlights? lol opened the door for big ben, on kennison had him on a few of my fantasy teams and dumped him quick.

We can draft a QB and WR in the draft.
If we do get Green, hopefully we don't spend picks on him.

Yeah, we can draft Ginn at 9 and Stanton in the 2nd or 3rd.

not being disrespectful ice but ginn @ 9 scares the hell outta me prefer O-line help and yeah love stanton but never get him in the 3rd.

started following OSU when Tressel left my hometown team YSU but ginn still scares me lol
