Dump the new uniforms and go back to the old school uniforms. The old uniforms look like real football uniforms, the new one's look like some **** out of a video game. I know I am an old guy but we wear real football uniforms and we play like a real football team....and look GREAT doing so.

When everyone:players, media, Dolphins fans, opposing teams' fans, and the casual fans like the unis you gotta make them permanent.

Damn...these threads are starting to add up like the Tannehaters threads. You can't turn your head without seeing a new thread pop up about these.

NFL regulations state that you must have your new uniform for 5 years. Of which any changes to the uniform have to be submitted 2 years before that is up. The throwbacks are also worn for 5 years, for up to 2 games per year. So, these are our uniforms until probably 2020 simce any changes would have to been submitted after last season and our throwbacks are in play until 2019.

That said, we are 1-1 in these throwbacks...right?

New ones are awful. I don't understand why fans don't get the vote on that

Let's start a petition to send over to Ross. And by let's I mean one of you. :)

Edit: I was really pissed we went dark jerseys at home. This front office can't even get homefield advantage right. Luckily, it was beautiful weather but they cant use an we knew it was October as in excuse because those living in Miami well know that the heat may pulverize all the way to November.

Not sure where you're coming from...we can change our uni as soon as the 2018 season, and for all we know the throwbacks (or a tweaked variation) could have already been submitted to the league as the new unis.

Yet another thread on this?

Therea a petition out floating around somewhere with a couple thousand signatures already.

Wrong. Because these are our current throwbacks they can't become our full time uniforms until their term expires. That would go against the wearing throwbacks more than twice a year. So, because of that we are not eligible to make THESE throwbacks our permanent uniforms until after the 2019 season. Now they could put in for something similar with some tweeks but THIS uniform that is massively loved can not be used until the 2020 season, if applied for 2 years before then.

Anyone have a link to this? As much as this comes up on our boards we should have that readily available for all of us to jump on. Love the throwbacks.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but please cite where you are getting your info about alternates not being eligible for full time use until their term expires. Have never heard that before.

And even if you're right, they can tweak by changing the pant stripes from aqua/orange/aqua to orange/aqua/orange, which they did in 1967...

Completely agree. When it come to uniforms, old school looks better.

Agreed but 2018 is the earliest this can come to fruition.

On a side note, I was at an Collectors Showcase of America show in Oct 2015 and Mark Clayton and Mark Duper were there. They both signed for me an item with last logo we had. They starting talking about the new logo and how they absolutely hate it and think it's weak and, hmm, not the manliest logo in the game. I was in complete total agreement.

The old logo may be "out of date" to some but to me it's perfect. I refuse to buy anything with the new logo on it because I just do not care for it and feel it will be short lived.
