Go Chargers!!!

For people that actually understand football more in depth and actually played the game more then watching it their entire life, understand that we are in a full blown crisis right now. If you think we can build off this team for next year, you are friggin insane. We are going to need a tackle and 2 guards next year to start rebuilding the O-line. YES, that's more then half the line. 3 of the 5 players you see on the line next year will be new to this team. We have no threat at TE at all. Are Defensive backs are JOKERS. Besides Vontae and Y. Bell everybody else is a huge liability playing in a professional football game. While I do like the Dolphins front 7 those guys are not playing up to the level that they can. We will need a DT and a DE to replace Jason Taylor. I would like to see the Dolphins rehire him as a coach, very inspirational guy. Jeezzz, didn't even mention the QB, just read my user name on the site for my input on that. Chad Henne is 9 of 23 inside the red zone this year that's under 40%. Need i mention not being able to pick up 10 yards against Cleveland to kick a game winning field goal. WE LOST TO CLEVELAND MINUS THEIR BY FAR BEST PLAYER PEYTON HILLIS. OMG, I almost forgot our head coach is a complete &%^$^&$%&^$ piece of %&^$&^%^&*)^*)&^*& son of &^$^%$&^%$&^#$^%$##$. God are owner must be clueless... O WAIT HE IS!!!!!!!

And as you watch each Dolphins game you are going to cheer Henne ints and sacks? Bush fumbles ? other teams running through our defense ?
You will be rooting for the JETS and PATS ?

If I felt this way i would read the paper the next day to see the final score. I could not watch the games.

NO F**King WAY a true fan would root for his team to lose.

Take the wins and loses at the years end. Add them up. Do solid drafting and go from there with whoever is our new coach.

See I don't think you guys can do it. Sit at a sports bar with your Fins shirt and hat and root for the JETS ??????

Hell I even supported the 1-15 team till the last game.

We picked first you'll recall. What would the new coach do if a great non QB is available and he thought he could still get his QB thru trade or trading back into the 1st round ?

I do not know ... and neither do you.

Bill Cowher might take a linebacker. Who knows at this point.

So i say go root for the Jets if you want. Come back next year and tells us how that worked out.

Don't worry, you don't have to root for them to lose. It's like natural selection.

F*ck that!

I'll be at the game in SD rooting for a Dolphins win.

How anyone can root for their team to lose is beyond me.

Great QBs can be found anywhere in the first round, even late.

Aaron Rodgers (who is arguably the best QB in the game now) wasn't drafted until what position?

GTFO of here with this lose on purpose for Luck bullsh*t.

I never root for us to lose but after going 0 and 3 I won't be disappointed when it happens. I mean our season is already over 3 games in...Thanks for that.

In follow up to all the posts.....

-Not trying to be a jerk, just think losing makes the most sense now.

-it's clear we're not going anywhere, we're the worst team in our division.

-out of the worst teams in the league, we have the hardest remaining schedule so we really could land #1 overall for 2012.

-Luck is no Ryan Leaf. He's a Peyton Manning-like prospect.

-the new rookie cap makes taking a QB #1 overall even more attractive, leaving plenty of FA money to fill our OL, TE, FS, SS and OLB needs.

-Tony is a goner either way but more losses would help make sure Ireland doesn't stick around and imo that's very important b/c he's been worse than the HC.

Take out the emotions and just consider those issues.

I certainly understand where you're coming from, but I just think losing to try to better your draft position is just too counter-productive to the process of instilling a winning culture on the team. There's a reason certain teams (Bengals, Cardinals and Lions until recently, etc.) seem to be stuck in their losing ways for so long.

FWIW, Ryan Leaf was a "Peyton Manning-like" prospect too.

My Take:
This season is pretty much a wash right now. I don't see us as competitve in any way, shape or form. Our QB looks like a Deer in Headlights. Our OL is AWFUL.... Our receivers are average.... The Defense can't cover a tight end to save their lives. And the best player on our team is our Punter. I'm saying we need an overhaul pretty badly. Is Andrew Luck a sure thing? No... No one ever is. But he's as close as it gets.... So if we go 2 - 14 again so be it. At least Tony S. and Jeff Ireland will be gone.

Aaron Rodgers was also eased into his team. I believe it was his 3rd year he actually got to touch a ball in a game that mattered. The guy basically took the 2 year Masters program at Green Bay for his im a badass QB certificate. Pick another name like Tom Brady, o wait he learned behind Drew Bledsoe for how long? You don't find Peyton Manning every day buddy. You talk about the best QB in football as if he was a hidden gem. JEEEZZZ Carson Palmer 2 years behind John Kitna. I can name more if you want. Andrew Luck is everything you could possibly want in a rookie QB. He would smoke Henne in a QB competition in his rookie year over a 3 year seasoned Chad Henne. Don't worry guys the Colts or KC will draft Luck #1. While the Dolphins at 3-13 will select at #4-7 next year.

I can live with that.

I can NOT root for the other team. Can you ?

If gates returns the opening kickoff for a 105 TD will you boo ?

Will you get really pissed if we blow out the Jets on Monday night ?

You are a great fan and I don't think you can do it.

Maybe root for us but if we lose be smiling inside knowing we'll pick higher. That's my approach

Detriot didn't tank one season, get their guy and then go 3-0.

Detroit Sucked for 10+ years drafting in the top 10 and had multiple seasons with less then 5 wins with one of those seasons being ZERO wins.

As bad as the last few years have been they haven't been detroit bad. We don't want that here.

Yep they sucked a just a little worse then us for the last 10 years and now they are set for the next 10 while we are still stuck in the exact same spot. I would gladly trade places with Lions fans.

How well did Manning play his first year? Oh yeah I forgot, he wasn't very good.

Everyone says Luck is the next Peyton Manning, but there is no guarantee he is.

Is Luck very good, yes he is, but there is no guarantee he lives up to that billing in the Pros.

The way rules are built to help the QB out in this league, you will see more late 1st round rookie QBs find success.

Not too long ago the moronic Jets traded many picks to move up and select a one Mark Sanchez.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did their home work at sat pat at pick number 17 and got the best QB in the draft that year.

So don't give me this horse sh*t that you can't find a rookie QB who can start day one AFTER the number one overall pick.

Especially this year, as there are a handful of good QBs who have potential to be stars in this league.

Well said. I'm starting to wish this Luck guys stumbles and falls to the 3rd like Mallet.
Just for the irony of it.
Our new coach will find HIS qb i'm sure but NO ONE is a sure bet.
Marino at 27. Brady in the 6th. It's all a crap shoot anyways.

Suck for luck!

---------- Post added at 05:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:57 PM ----------

Colts are trying hard in the suck for luck, by placing a couple of players on IR today.

So whats the common denominator? The got their QB.. They are good because they drafted a franchise QB. Theyre going to win their division because they have a franchise QB. Something we need to do in April, and if it means tanking the season to do it, well by god sir I am on board!

I admit,I secretly want the Phins' to tank the next 10-11 games, but I'd never blog about it lol
