Just watching and hoping that the Tigers come back and beat the hated Saban!

yes, I'm watching from time to time, hoping for SATAN to loose

Go Clem

I don't hate Saban. When he left here, i was upset, but i said "wait 2-3 years and Alabama will be contenders for the title."

Looking like i was right. At least this week.

I never hated Saban for leaving. That was a personal decision on his part and I wouldn't want him coaching for Miami if his heart wasn't in it. However, hes a great college coach.

One game don't mean a thing.SATAN's team started good last year as well.

SATAN is a hell of a smart guy i think they would of beat any team after Satan had so long to game plan for them.

Saban screwed...and lied to Dolphins Nation. I don't wish him well. I root for any team...yes even the Gators...against the Tide with Saban.
I also like the fact that Pitt lost today.
Now I just need some Patriot losses and I'll be good!
I'm not vindictive...really.

I'm with you my friend

Roll Tide Roll,.you bunch of girls....you act like Nick stole your girl and kicked
your puppy.
It's over ....Miami is better off,and Bama is better off.
It's a win /win.

You guys need to quit hating on Saban so much. He is a helluva football coach. His NFL talent evaluation and ability to select players is really bad, but dude can coach. And he whipped Bowden boys ***.

lol @ anyone who thought Clemson was legitimate and Alabama was not going to beat them with ease.

and WV is right on this one, Saban is a hell of a coach, especially at the collegiate level and much more so than Tommy Bowden who will be lucky to have a job with Clemson fails to do anything significant this year.

I use to laugh at Wanny running his fingers through his hair and the same stupid looks he would have with his Pitt team getting blown out as when his Fins team would be blowing a big lead:lol: Now I feel bad for him anymore. I was actually routing for him against West Virginia.

I don't hate Saban so much for what he did to the Dolphins. I thought Mike Shula got a bad deal. The year before he was fired he had an excellent team until that WR got hurt. Remember the way they smoked Florida? He had a bad year but I thought they should have stuck with him. I was trying to catch as many Bama games as I could while he was coaching. I don't have a college team becuase I get enough aggrevation from the Dolphins. I don't think I could take two days a week of this:lol:

I don't think bringing Saban in is a lock for Bama like they think. He didn't even deserve his national title. They beat a crappy OU team that was blown out in the conference championship. OU had no business in a National championship game. He built an excellent program at LSU but I think he should have stayed there a few more years and see if he could have become an elite college football coach. He is one of the better college football coaches but I don't think he is as great as people think. I don't think he is even going to win the SEC or even the division at LSU and it is going to be funny when the Bama fans turn on him.

I disagree, i think Nick Saban is an excellent choice to run a college football program. He's been successful at the collegiate level wherever he's gone. He's worked under Bill Belichick enough that you have to regard him as one of the great football minds alive. His toughness and fire is something that works a lot better on kids than it would in the NFL.

And i thought Nick would have been a good NFL coach too had he stuck out.....but he didn't.

And we get angry because he didn't, perhaps because he "lied" by calling the Alabama rumors a non-issue, completely untruthful, a "where the hell do you people get this stuff" kind of thing while he was making the deal behind our backs. I lost a lot of respect for him because of this, respect as a person not as a coach. As a coach i think he's excellent and certainly the right man to turn the ship around in Birmingham.

First: as his mediocre results in the NFL proves, he's not a "helluva football coach" He might be a "helluva college football coach" when his career is over, but as someone else said, that shared national title proves diddly and still puts him a few notches below Pete Carroll to say the least.

*OJ was a "helluva RB" but he's still a brutal murderer
*Paris Hilton may give a "helluva BJ" but she's still a promiscuous slut
*China might be a "helluva Olympics host" but its still a repressive communistic totalitarian dictatorship,

***and Satan may (or may not) be a "helluva NCAA coach" but off the football field he's still a POS, traitorous, lying, worthless, skuumbayg.

Saban took over a 4-12 team and spent two years here so those "mediocre results" prove nothing. All i know is the Dolphins went from 4-12 to 9-7 under him and we're talking about a vastly declining team here. They lose Ricky Williams the next year, they end up with instability at the QB position with Frerotte gone and Culpepper/Harrington/Lemon playing and the finish 6-10. Then he leaves.....

Again i don't like what he did as a person, especially that he lied about it. If Nick came up outright and said "look i'm negotiating with Alabama there is a possibility i split" then yeah i wouldn't have liked it but i would have respected him as a person a hell of a lot more. Instead he flat out lied.

But he's still a good coach!
