Have you actually looked at the Giants percentages of success running the ball on 3rd or 4th and short over the last year or so? More specifically, have you looked at the tip toe burglar's production in those situations as well as goal line?
If this were 07 or 08, I might be on board with signing Jacobs. But, having watched football the last few years, Im good on the tip toe burglar.

Anything is possible as Wake has shown but the odds are that Messam wont have even close to the NFL career that Jacobs has, hell he has to first make an nfl team

Well he has a name for a reason he has almost 5000 yards rushing and averaged 4.5 for his career. Its not an awful suggestion. The guy has had a much better career than our current starter and is one year removed from having a 5.6 average

wouldnt say Brown or Jacobs blow and lets not act like Reggie Bush has been so damn successful, one good season out of all of his years does not make him a stud
No one's making Reggie Bush out to be a stud, stop with that. He's a hell of a lot more useful than tippy-toe Jacobs that's for sure. Jacobs himself has only had 2 1,000 yard rushing seasons and has fallen off significantly since his last one in 2008. I'll take Bush over Jacobs ANY day.
