Go Get Brandon Jacobs!

Jacobs can still be productive. He still has flashes of his old self from time to time. If the pricetag is low theres no reason not to. Big if though.

:bobdole: No one's making Reggie Bush out to be a stud, stop with that. He's a hell of a lot more useful than tippy-toe Jacobs that's for sure. Jacobs himself has only had 2 1,000 yard rushing seasons and has fallen off significantly since his last one in 2008. I'll take Bush over Jacobs ANY day.

Maybe at this point in his career but people forget Bush was an absolute failure as a top draft pick until this last season. Why do you think NO basically gave him away. Also you are quite wrong Brandon was a pretty damn good back in 2010 averaging 5.6 yards a carry with 823 yards rushing, that same season Reggie Bush had 150 yards rushing so that year Im sure you would not have said you wanted Bush over Jacobs. I have always been a Bush fan but until last year he was a complete bust as a RB

He couldn't stay healthy, that was his problem. But when he was on the field, he did put up some decent numbers. Maybe not bruising back type numbers but that's not his style. He was more a receiving threat than anything else. But when given the chance to prove himself as a premiere back he did a pretty damn decent job.

Jacobs hasn't been able to put up those numbers on a consistent basis himself. Like other have said, he's a finesse runner with a body of a tight end. That's just no bueno in my books. If you've got the body of a bruising back, use it. He couldn't get in the endzone in goal line situations to save his life!

Bush was given plenty of chances in NO he just never got it done

Yeas you right they drafted him to be a 3rd down back my bad. They were starting him but 3.7 per carry just dont get it done

Take those stats back to your fantasy football league lol.

Reggie did so much more for the Saints without the football in his hands. The way the defenses concerned themselves with Reggie allowed Drew Brees to open it up. Saints benefitted greatly from Reggie being on the field. You can't always look at what a guy does when he has the football in his hands.

Sproles is doing the same thing...he's just a better running back overall.

Reggie was a third down back at best for them. How come when a player becomes a dolphin we make excuses why they were not successful. yes reggie was a dangetous receiver and basically crap running the ball for them. If Bush was such a big weapon for the how come they gave him away and you know the answer. I always have liked Bush but his lack of success in NO had nothing to do with misuse, he just didnt get it done. If he was so good why wouldnt they use him and then trade him for a scrub cb special teams player. Sproles was much better in NO than Bush ever was. Now maybe Bush has got his stuff togther but to pretend he was better in NO than he was is silly. I will ask again if Bush was so good why trade him for friggin Amaya who sucks balls . No team trades a valuable player for that mess. Bush was a huge bust up until this year, great special teams and receiver out of backfield but well below average running back.
