Go Get MATT FORTE

Id rather have Matt Forte than Reggie Bush but I think Bush Dthomas Slaton and Messum is a decent backfield forreal and maybe Messum will play FB and let Charles Clay play more TE

Reason he's mad is because they signed Michael Bush to take away carries from him, lowering his stock as he won't be required to play most downs anymore.

In Miami he will have to be splitting carries with two other running backs in a PASSING offense.

I don't think he is very upset with the Michael Bush signing. As he was not upset with the signing of Chester Taylor 2 years ago & the signing of Marion Barber last year. The Bears needed a big back for short yardage situations along with touchdowns and brings depth in the backfield to support Forte. Forte will sign with the Bears & thrive like he did last year before the injury. And I don't think the dolphins should go after him since we don't have the cap room & we already have Reggie & Thomas. Not as good of a combo but a similar combo.

The goal is to have a team full of second-string level guys who will sign cheap.

To sneak up on the opposition and hope they take us lightly.

@MattForte22 Only so many times a man that's done everything he's asked can be disrespected! Guess GOOD GUYS do finish last.

This guy has been continually underpaid and disrespected, as he said, by the Bears. He's been their entire freaking offense the past 2 years! He's not happy, and I think it'd be perfect if we somehow could get him.

You take our crazy, bi-polar, wife-beating Pro Bowl wide receiver, and we'll take your star running back to help build a sick tandem of Reggie Bush/Matt Forte/Daniel Thomas.

GET IT DONE, IRELAND! Make Forte happy and screw over the Bears.

Tell me you're joking.

He shouldn't be mad. He is getting the franchise tag. And now he has Bush to share the load.
His injury percentage just went way down for this year.

He needs to make it to next year before he gets the big money contract.

His biggest risk is being permanently injured playing under franchis tag and then never getting the big deal.
Having Bush helps him get to that deal with less risk.

As far as lower numbers in contract year everyone in the league has seen what forte can do already.

Matt Forte has an injury history, too. And with the kind of money he wants, he's coming in to be a #1.

I'm not sure how you can say Forte has a injury history when he has only missed 4 games in 4 years but I do agree with you that you cannot pay Forte what he's worth.

And 10 million + between 2 running backs in a west coast offense doesn't make sense

What are you his agent?

We don't need Forte.

He does deserve his payday though.

RB's are a dime a dozen.it would be much easier to hand Bush the starting job (or even find a cheaper replacement) next year as opposed to overpaying for forte's talents.

forte needs to realize he's expendable, i dont blame him though its soul crushing when your peers are getting paid way more than you are.....but talented rb's are not hard to come by, plus this is a dual back league now......bush can basically do everything he does, he's just not as fast......
i remember him going ape **** when CJ got his deal.

dont need Forte. What would happen if Richardson were to fall to us and we have forte on the roster? Agree RBs are a dime a dozen but richardson is special. Last RB that compared to him coming out of college was Peterson.
