He's had a good career, but he's a 10 year vet and would just be a stop-gap. I really want us to draft either Creed Humphrey, Landon Dickerson, or Quinn Meinerz and take care of the position for at least five years.

seems like he’s still in pro bowl form - so if he’s gonna be elite or near elite for the next 2-3 year... what does his age matter?
these next 2-3 years are our window before (god willing) Tua has a new contract cause he’s been ripping it up. Now is our time. You don’t get young guys ONLY cause they’re young - you hope to catch their prime. This guy is seemingly in his prime still, right?

He was PFFs 3rd ranked center last year, was all pro year before, and the Raiders are a complete disarray of a team. They make stupid moves regularly.

He'd be awesome as a 2-year transition/mentor to a second-day center like Dickerson or Humphrey. I endorse.

He could be good while a guy like Dickerson, who is a Beast, slides in the draft due to injury or we get Meinerz even later. To others point, gives time for a guy to heal up or develop.
