Goal line off ense and short yardage efficiency will GREATLY improve

How many times did our offense get stuffed on 3rd and 1 or 3rd and inches over the past couple of years? Or 4th and inches? Too many times! And as a result putting our defense right back on the field tiring them out.

Take a look at this video at the 5:30 mark. There is a good overhead camera angle of Big Jake and the left side just plowing mass open space for the running back.

And at 5:57 there a nice angle of Jake Long totally walling someone off. It will be very exciting to see such runs with Brown and Williams running behind this guy with Smiley at LG and Satele pulling. It's going to be great to see Miami just steamrolling teams.

Henne made some absolutely beautiful throws in that game. Man I'm excited about our future.

For the record, I like John beck, think he is a great guy...but man Henne is impressive.

Actually I believe that Ronnie was among the league best in short yardage running up until his injury last year.....but having Big Jake sure can't hurt.

Jake isn't the only talent we added on that o-line. Smiley will have something to do with goal line improvement too. He will also be the one pulling on the sweeps so he will have a greater impact than Jake IMO.
