Signing Gallery for a decent deal and shifting over incognito to RG would really help out our draft board as we won't have to really invest in a high OG/OT prospect. I haven't really followed him that much but from what I remember he actually improved and made himself valuable after switching to a Guard. Thoughts?

he was terrible for raiders but became good for seahawks

Incorrect. He was a good LG for the Raiders and for some reason just got cut by the Seahawks. Would be a decent pickup for us given his age.

incognito is on his way out....

Don't think he suits the zone scheme that's coming. Saying that, neither does Incog, but he's a bit more mobile so he could fill the gap for a while.

Yeah I see this more as a "get buy" move so we can actually get some top talent in skill positions. I can really see us making a move for a relatively young, solid experienced veteran who can allow us to move around our progressing second tier talent (Garner, Jerry, Murtha) in different roles and positions and really play with that versatility that those three players provide for the line. We possibly could go into the season with all of the same lineman and an addition like Gallery.

Long, Gallery, Pouncey, Incog, Jerry/Murtha with Garner off the bench either as a RT or G. Incog can also play center and Jerry filled in well as our LT when Long was out. Our Line is very versatile and we may not need to invest a high pick in a lineman.

Robert Gallery
Manny Lawson

if we could finish with that I think we got better. ( Brandon "All Day" Marshall I miss you so much lol)

He's made of glass. No more Jake Grove or Justin Smiley. It doesn't matter how talented you are if you can't stay on the field.
