DAVIE — Dolphins fans who haven't followed the team's daily injury report might be surprised by some of the players they see in key roles today at Buffalo. Season-ending injuries have sidelined six front-line players this year, from tight end David Martin in training camp to quarterback Chad Pennington, running back/returner Patrick Cobbs, cornerback Will Allen, running back Ronnie Brown and, most recently, nose tackle Jason Ferguson.
But their absences have created opportunities for reserves to move up on the depth chart. Here is a look at some of the little-known players thrust into prominent roles.
