Assuming that Philbin stays what do we need to do?

Benton and Lazor stay which I like

Do we keep Coyle? I can't say

DC aside we need:

to get/develop another pass rusher

get a real NT

get a real MLB

get another starting CB

not a small list but I think we need to start on the defensive side

just getting a stout NT and a stud MLB might go a long way

If you are keeping Philbin as coach, I think you have to let him stick with his coaches so long as he wants them. If he feels he can work well with Coyle and Lazor and they give this team the best chance to win, don't force someone else on him.

Get a playmaking LB. Shore up the OL and the overall depth. Go from there.
