Driving from Toronto to Cleveland with 2 other guys for the week 3 game.

Anyone have any idea where to stay? We are hitting the RocknRoll Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon, Twins/Indians Saturday night, then the game Sunday.

Random thought I had, do any blogs/insiders ever release the information on the team hotels?

Thanks.

You're crazy not to try and make a trip to Canton to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Other than that I don't know much about Cleveland. Burn some LeBron jerseys maybe?

Worked there a couple long stints. I always stay at Marriot Residence Inn (my preference) or Hilton Suites ... rooms are like studio apt & gives you a fridge & kitchenette. You can find them both & they have decent prices & special weekend rates. Usually have great free breakfast & Happy Hour = Marriot Residence Inn has free beer/wine ... Woohoo!!

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is one of the best museums I've been to & I've been to tons. Football Hall of fame is a modest drive & also great (go a day early & get in the NFL mood!!).

Locals took me to the popular sports bar w/ good eats (Winking Lizard is located in Downtown Cleveland at 811 Huron Road), its fun & popular, so get there early. (If full, several other sports bars nearby).

Keep in mind you can stay at the airport hotels like the Crown Plaza, La Quinta, Sheraton, Hilton Garden, etc and take the Mugger Mover(RTA) to the game for 5 bucks all day. Hotel van to the airport and RTA departs out of the basement, just follow the sea of Clowns fans! I was based there last season went to 2 games and this is how I did it.

I'm going too!!!! Driving from Milwaukee with my bro and 2 of my cousins. I want to see how the nightlife is on the weekend so were heading out Saturday morning to go out Saturday night. Less than 4 weeks!!!

Wife and I just did the R&R HOF and football HOF in april (fun weekend). If you can get to Clev. on friday, do the R&R HOF friday, that way you have time to do the pro football on sat., before the indians game. Canton is about an hour or so from cleve., so you need to give yourself some travel time if you choose to go there. Give yourself 2+ hours to go through each.

I will be there with my 9 YO son, against my better judgement. I went several years ago and swore I'd never go back. As the brown's fans get drunker they get more abusive, and they aren't a polite group to start with. I could easily see a repeat of Oakland/San Fran at a Brown's game sometime- and not just with a Steelers game.

Staying at the Embassy Suites Downtown. Never been to Cleveland. Looking forward to it.

You got that right they are Jerry Springer Trailer Trash! For the love of god last year a grown man assaulted a 6yr old boy wearing a Sanchez jersey after he came back and beat them!

Try 6th street it is between Tower City and where the Cavs play, or on the other side toward the lake is a real popular Irish Bar sorry I can't remember the name. 6th has more variety though.

Most of the hotels are in walking distance to the stadium. BEST hotel is the Mariott. But if you stay at the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn its more reasonable price wise and its a decent place with a free breakfast. But the Mariott is on a different level. Depends on what your loooking for

Im heading there too. Will get there sat afternoon, will probably hit the R&R Hall of fame as well that afternoon
