Chad Henne was expected to represent a question mark at quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. Instead, during the majority of the preseason, Henne has been his team's unquestioned strength. After completing 15 of his 24 attempts for 194 yards against Carolina during the Dolphins' second preseason game, Henne followed that by completing 10-of-12 passes for 174 yards in Miami's 17-13 defeat against Tampa Bay at Raymond James Stadium.
Put the two halves together and Henne's stat line has rarely ever looked so good: 25-of-36 for 369 yards. Best of all, perhaps: He hasn't thrown an interception in the past two games, after throwing two in the first quarter in the preseason opener at Atlanta.
Not coincidentally, Henne's increased production has been coupled with increased confidence. He has remained poised amid pressure -- both the intangible and tangible, which has come often given the struggles of the Dolphins' offensive line.

I, among many folks on this board, will gladly eat my words if/when he turns in a good season. Here's hoping he shows us "haters" we are wrong. It's a good start and once again i am hopeful.

I'm not saying Henne will be a probowler but if we can get a kerry Collins type player out of him then I will be happy. Ive supported the guy since day one and am glad to see him finally get a fair shake for the FIRST time since being here. Shame it took 4 years and arguably his starting career is going to come down to one season. No pressure Chad...

im just so pissed about the lost time for chad from last year. cus it just shows, it didnt have to be that way. parsells.

I really hope Henne does some serious *** kicking cus I want to hear what billy parsells has to say. f'in ripoff!

It's funny, if Chad keeps progressing then there will be more than enough proof to indite sparano, lee and henning as to the people who absolutely were wreckless with a young Henne's career. Maybe this is why we all were left scratching our collective heads when he would make throws like in the Monday night jets game that made us think we had our qb on the future and then he would regress later in the year. Henne can make all of the throws and daboll's offense is showing us what he is capable of.

As many suggested, he is going to have to persevere as he will throw picks and maybe lose a game for us. Marino wasnt immune to that either. Me personally, I'm going to see pass judgement after this season. No excuses and unfortunately for him he has no more chances. Sparano and company ruined that.
