Good Article About Wes Welker

In 2004, Welker set a season record for Dolphin punt returns with 43, and with yards at 464. He had 57 kickoffs for 1,313 yards, second best in team history.

I didn't know this. Cool!

nice article thanks man, i still dont get why with those stats he wasnt drafted, ik his size is small but i think he could of gone 6th or 7th round

He probably didn't get drafted because he doesn't have top-tier speed. He is fast, but will still be caught by fast DBs and WRs on special teams. But his agility and acceleration are otherworldly, as well as his ability to break tackels and make guys miss, so I'm sure that some teams at least had their eye on him. Then again, Chad Owens got drafted, so maybe Welker should have been drafted. Who knows.

I'm so happy that Wes is on our team. When he ran that kickoff back against Baltimore, I felt like we won the Super Bowl.

The greatest part about Wes, is after a great play, he just hands the ball to the ref. Check out the replay of that run against Baltimore... He acted like it was business as usual. No crazy celebrations, no acts... Just class.

I really don't have a clue on how that Pats player got to him. He had two of our guys blocking him. That was ok though, Morris did finish it up for a TD.

Nothing like reading about a player from your home state. :D I can remember when Wes played at a private school here in Oklahoma. He was a track andfootball player. Way to go Wes...

Wes is a great asset on our team that can do a lot of different things. He has an opportunity to play a long time in the leage if he doesn't get hurt.

Q and A with my man Chris Chambers is soo $money$...its five minutes of 84 talkin about our offense, Gus, Ronnie, His speed!, Lo. Diamond, and How much he likes to scores TDs~1
