Good article by Jason Cole

Yeah, it ultimately comes down to the lack of knowledge that the GM has in terms of acquisitions, coaching staff, and most importantly the draft. Millen should realize that he played himself with this whole Harrington deal. It just goes to show that after all the crow that Joey had to eat, he finally gave it right back to him as well as Saban and CO. :)

WOW! Did Jason Cole REALLY Write that? Props to Jason for actually being a Dolphins Homer in that piece (Sort of!)...

Hit the second page under This and That.

Numerous Dolphins fans were amused by the work of Spielman, who was essentially fired after one year as the team’s GM, on ESPN during the lead-up to the draft. Many fans said they were stunned with Spielman’s inane commentary and conversation-stopping pronouncement. In short, many simply wondered: How could owner Wayne Huizenga have decided to hire this guy?

Yeah that was him he really tore into the Lions front office. He obviously has a positive outlook for our phins in 06! :) Its really good to see that, especially when Millen, whose stupidity gleamed more than ever when he tried to take things up with the NFL with the Harrington situation....moreover, the best is when Harrington basically said no deal to Millen's Cleveland idea.

One final note on the Dolphins quarterbacks: The team has completely reworked its depth chart over the past eight months. After opening last season with A.J. Feeley, Gus Frerotte and Sage Rosenfels, the team has traded for Culpepper, Harrington and third stringer Cleo Lemon.

The funny part is that in trading for Feeley and Rosenfels, former Dolphins general manager Rick Spielman and coach Dave Wannstedt gave up second- and seventh-round picks for two guys who had seven games of experience between them. To get the current three, the Dolphins gave up a second and two sixths. They got three quarterbacks with a combined three Pro Bowl appearances and 139 games of experience

Wow, that says a lot right there. Look at our current depth at the QB position and look at it a year ago. Man DW and RS where not a good pair. I do however think Rick could turn out to be decent if he gets into the right situation. DW on the other hand has no business evaluating talent at any level and has no right being a HC either. I have a strange feeling we are gonna be some spoiled fans the next few years.

great read! millen is a piece of crap. i should have his job. i could do it 10 times better! anyways i like the recanition we got about saban mueller talking a little about the trades for a 3 qb's. FIRE millen or u will never go anywhere lions. Millen=poop

Absolutely, this GM needs to be gone. I mean he's doing worse of a job than Spielman did. I think we all can see from the Ford family's standpoint of how imperative it is to take the initiative of finding someone capable of leading the Lions to somewhere other than a losing record.

Don't mean to veer off because I know this is primarily for Dolphins talk. I'm probably on the verge of a topic that should belong into the General NFL forum or merged somewhere lol.
