I'd be willing to wager Dolphin fans are going to appreciate Jarvis Landry far more after 2018. That's all I'm going to say on Albert Wilson.
I won’t.
I won’t miss his little legs trying to run fast, or his excessive juking that got him absolutely nowhere.
Judging by your posts, I bet you’ve never even seen Wilson play a snap. Or watched him in college, or even know how fast/explosive he is.
I'm really looking forward to seeing WILSON in aqua. The guy is gonna be special IMO, if given the chance. GASE will give him that chance. Can't wait!!!I won’t.

Wilson isn't going to replace Landry production wise, but that is not what he is supposed to do. I won't miss having to feed the ball over 100 times/year to a player that is a slot receiver. The point of moving on from Landry was so that we can spread the ball around more. We now have multiple players that can do what Landry did and can rotate them in and out as we please. We also now have the flexibility to move receivers around more as all the receivers can run a full route tree.You won't miss 4,000 yards, 24 Touchdowns, and zero missed games over a 4 year period from a wide receiver? Alrighty.
And yes I've seen Albert Wilson play. And so did Andy Reid and Brett Veach. And there's a reason they weren't chompin at the bit to pay him any more than the 1.7 million he made last year.

Just remember, we are in the prime of Smokescreen Season, where subterfuge is intertwined with reality and disinformation is the norm.My takes from the article;
“Gase likes the idea of four-receiver sets with Wilson and fellow newcomer Danny Amendola joining Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker. The Dolphins are also better insured for Parker injuries with Wilson and Amendola both coming aboard. Grant’s still going to be competing for snaps as well, and running back Kenyan Drake is working toward being a bigger part of the passing game.”
If the bolded isn’t just the writer making assumptions and what Gase is saying it then reinforces my thoughts that a pass catching TE is not high on the Dolphins wish list. There simply won’t be enough balls to go around and they will look for mismatches with Wilson and Drake.
And yeah, more WR screens! Let’s hope they do work the way Gase thinks they will.
“He’s a guy (Wilson) that can take a throw behind the line of scrimmage and he can create a 70-yard touchdown,” Gase said.“
The problem is over 400 catches, his average YPC is 10.1 over his entire career. That's not very good for a guy who "gets open". Jarvis is a good receiver and he brings value to the team but I have never been a big fan of an offense that runs such a large percentage of plays through 1 player. It is usually less productive than if you can spread it out more.What was preventing Adam Gase from "spreading the ball around" before? Absolutely nothing. Landry did not have a gun to his head. Please don't buy that narrative that this coach and front office is trying to sell you. Don't be naive, bro.
Jarvis Landry got the highest amount of targets year after year, because he gets open, and is a very good receiver
I am more than a bit annoyed that we had to move on from Suh for cap reasons because we paid Kiko and Branch all that money......hopefully babygap and Branch have good years but i doubt it.Hey, I am definitely going to miss Landry, and Suh and a few others. I still miss Ajayi. But, Landry took too much of the salary cap if we resigned him.. That is the same argument against Suh. It isn't WHETHER we will miss them it is WHO WILL WE MISS MORE, those two, or the several players we could not afford if we paid them. Jury is still out on that one.
