Looks to be a guarantee Miami will have the youngest roster in the NFL this season -- and probably by a significant margin. When in doubt – we default to youth. I for one love that approach and after this upcoming draft – our roster should be peppered all over the place with ascending talent. So I say it’s really good thing!

It's a great thing, particularly long term.

It's important to keep an infux of quality youth to help keep salary cap flexibility.

Need players to step up into leadership roles. McCain, Wilkins, Baker, Flowers, Tua, Smythe.

These are the guys who are the "vets" and need to lead by example in a big way.

If these players answer the call in this regard I think we can get by without aged vets on the roster.

It seems the franchise is banking on the coach and his staff to develop these young players. In year one under Flores it appears he worked magic with the street free agents he brought in. In 2020, without a traditional offseason it seemed like the young draftees struggled towards seasons end. Hopefully with OTA's and the Off Season program in full swing once again, these youngsters make big strides for the 2021 season.

I love the new philosophy of a younger, developmental roster. It works better, especially with cap flexibility and not having older broken down, declining players.

I really think the single biggest problem late in the season was that our pass rush just completely broke down. Josh Allen had days to find an open receiver and he just killed us.

We address this, or we go nowhere.

I like that we have a young team but you need at least a few veteran players. Don't have to be 10 year vets but most of the time those vets are your leaders and you need that too.

Primacy and recency and generally accepted / recognized as the two most important "impressions"

made -- and readily tapped into by advertising or communication specialists. Point is, the Buffalo

game left a very bad taste in our collective fan base mouth and now that's become the core reference

for most. No doubt we were exposed in that game and no doubt it clarified the gap between our

program and POS McVermin -- who's being propped up IMO by his staff and the "emergent" year

Allen had with those receivers. That said, taken as a whole, we definitely exceeded expectations

for Y2 in the complete rebuild -- and you can bet your ass McVermin is fully aware we're coming after

his punk ass this season! Flo ain't gonna be outmatched by that wussy bitch! But of course this is

just my opinion and McVermin is an obvious mommies boy!

I think we have emerging “leaders” on the team who have been with Flo in the program now for 3 years and that will buffer the “maturity factor.” In addition, the focus on prior team captains (in college) and kids of high character will contribute in that direction. That said, of course this teams BEST YEARS are still down the road --- and as long as the program keeps evolving in the right direction – the leadership question is already present on the roster for the most part. And of course, the #1 leadership role is Flo and I’m confident with him and his plan.

Bottom line, if older vet "leadership" winds up being our lone issue -- I think that's easily solvable. But that's just my take.

Yes, and from my point of view, it can't all be "scheme fit" and schemed pass rush. Continue with that stuff, but we need 1 or 2 guys that can just line up and beat an OT - no scheme.
