hello Hutch, Bentley, and our first rounder Winston Justice. Sure it makes no sense financially, still doesn't solve our left tackle spot, we could move rex over to center and it would be cheaper, hutch will be franchised, blah blah blah, but doesn't it sound good just for a minute?

i doubt we can get both hutch and bentley, wed be lucky to get one

It feels good for more than a minute but you know is not gonna happen... :sidelol: did you go to fantasyland this weekend?

Ozzy rules!!

LeCharles Bentley is much, much more likely than Hutchinson. He won't command half the price. Hutch is welcome to make 4-5 million per year here, but he'll probably want twice that.

That's how your post should have ended.

Offensive line is about continuity. You have to know the person who is blocking next to you. They are a unit. If we keep shuffling players in and out we will never fix the "problem." How many times have you seen a big name FA stud come in and all of a sudden become average??? Coincidence???

I would love to get Hutchinson

At the same time, throwing tackle money at a guard makes little sense to me.

We won't be getting Bentley (Hadnot will be our opening day starter) and Hutchinson will be too expensive in my opinion.

Hutchinson is the best guard in the NFL, he's more likely to get the larger contract. Also, the Saints have the room to franchise tag Bentley. Seattle has to try to resign Alexander who's going to command a whole s*** load of money & their top DT Rocky Bernard. Money will be an issue for them.

Wait aren't the OL salaries still a constant for all offensive linemen meaning if they franchise Bentley they'd have to pay top 5 tackle salaries?

Jeno & McIntosh will stay. The other two will go.

I read Mckinney might be back for a one year deal. I guess that would depend on if he gets no feelers in FA. I would not disagree with that notion if we do not draft a center. Mckinney became a pretty good linemen this year. As long as Houck is here, its still a possibility regardless of everyone hating Mckinney. He was our starting center on a much improved Oline. Hadnot will be looked to to take over however.

There is absolutely NO reason to lose Jeno, he played very well over the course of the season.

I never said her played bad did I? His cap number is like 5 or 6 million next year. I think that is way to much for him, but that is just me.

Also for all those out there saying we won't get this player or we won't get both etc... I am pretty sure, actually I am really sure if you read the post I said it wouldn't happen either, but wouldn't it be awesome. Was just thinking out loud.
