Good Daunte Read on SI

Yeah thanks for the good read man. i hope he is in the starting line up when the season begins.
 
That's a great article. I'm surprised it was written by a national writer; the guy seems to have a really good understanding of the way things played out.

I love the Saban quote about playing the hand you're dealt; there were a lot of people bent out of shape over Frerotte thinking that Saban would stick with him like Wanny did with Fiedler. Starting Frerotte was all about maximizing our success last year. We didn't develop Sage because he obviously was not the long term answer. Now we have a stud QB and one that could become very valuable if he takes advantage of his opportunities.
 
That was a good read, Duante is looking good form what the reports say.
 
Good to hear the QBs are getting along and the team is rallying behind our new leader Culpepper.
 
If this (and of course it should) team chemistry and harmony and rallying around Pepper continues we have something special. If his play turns out to be at the level he was in his best years in Minnesota this will become the best qb move since drafting Dan.
 
The thing I liked about the article is not only did it put the Culpepper situation in perspective, it did the same for Harrington as well. The writer gives no blind gaurentees that everything will turn out for the best. On the other hand, he seems to indicate that these were the best options available to Saban and that, at least for the moment, the Dolphins appear to have done very well for themselves.
